(Part 2 🎬 deciding a color scheme ) I knew I couldn’t pass on all the seasonal fall beauty and design in only whites and creams for this arrangement. With her {the recipient} in mind though, I wanted to be ✨mindful✨ of their style and what she truly would love if I added in the seasonal touches. So I chose to start at the “beginning” which is what I know she likes then added a soft pink and connected those dots with a perfect bloom. From there I accented the warmth and highlighted those precious magnolia leaves that we get around this time as well as the terracotta wax, added some fun interesting pieces and voila .. florist’s kiss 💋
Did I mention I love whoever invented the color wheel🙃.

(Part one 🎬) This week I was blessed to receive a special order from the sweetest customer to be designed and delivered to the sweetest recipient. The love and care people have and show for one another is one of the greatest joys of being a florist. This arrangement might look familiar to some of you 🤍, but before it rode shotgun to be delivered, it got a little photo shoot and some screen time with me. I was given the creative green light and a healthy budget to design this bad boy. I was so excited to work with some new-to -me product, and some I haven’t gotten to design with in a while. And honestly I just love flowers and want to share their beauty and uniqueness. Apologies for having to listen to 2 mins of my voice lol🙃 …I should hire a voice actor for these 🤔
Something a little different in the weekly bouquets at the Olive Branch…
Anxiety, depression, burnout and a list of other human afflictions can come for each and every one of us at any time without warning. (Sometimes we know the root cause!) This week three specific verses have been like a neon billboard flashing in my mind and the best way I know how to share Jesus, His comfort and His promises is through flowers…So this week I put pen to flower paper and shared these verses on the inside of the weekly bouquets at The Olive Branch. I pray they bring you comfort and peace as we welcome in November❤️

I’m getting ready to “de-Christmas” our home which truthfully is always a hard process on me. I’ve always had “party let down” ever since I was a kid so I feel like this is the ultimate version of that!
Leading up to the holidays is just a jam packed season filled with anticipation. After it’s over I’m left feeling a little sad which ultimately made me seek for something hopeful in the new year to regain that feeling of anticipation and excitement.
The thing I focus on now each year and look forward to is the ✨refresh✨with the return of calm and a gentle order.
Whites and neutrals are a way that I try to recreate that balance and that’s exactly the goal and purpose I have in mind for you with the Winter White design class.
I just ordered our vases that we will be designing in 🤩. I used the “renew” vase last year which is darling and this next vase is super special as well.

Last night after design class was over, I turned on the music and got to work slowly and intentionally designing the bouquets. They are packed full of the beautiful fresh blooms I received from Terra Farms and Whipwood Gardens . After some thought and prayer there are (for whatever reason ) exactly 24 bouquets in Dolly, ready and waiting for you when The Olive Branch opens at 9am. Praying they are a blessing to you, your home, friends and families this weekend!😘
It’s wedding week for this beautiful girl! Nails and coffee in the morning then prepping, processing and designing the rest of the day! We will wake up and do that second half all over again tomorrow!🥰

I’m processing a very large flower order out on our driveway this afternoon and it’s little moments like this that I just have to share. He truly just meets you where you are.
These are super select white ranunculus from Rio Roses and they are breathtaking.
