Back on November 6th I made the offer to do marriage license signings free of charge for all LGBTQ couples until inauguration day. I was honored to do 8 in that time. In the first 6 hours after his inauguration yesterday I was contacted by two additional LGBTQ couples. So, I guess my offer is just going to keep going. Please reach out if I can be of assistance.

Rick initially reached out for a simple sign and drive earlier this month. After learning they'd already been together 20 years, a marriage license signing in my driveway wasn't going to cut it for these two so I recruited the help of a venue, The Ballroom at Park Lane, and a photographer, Corey Ann Photography, to give them an official elopement. Congratulations to Rick & Carter!

I've already received 2 calls from LGBTQ couples this morning asking to get married ASAP. One couple had been together 20 years already. They're fearful of what is to come. So, from now until January 20th, 2025, sign & drives are at no cost for LGBTQ couples.

My husband and I have been house hunting for a few months. One of the things that was important for me to find was a space for me to do elopements. Last week we closed on a house and today I got to do my first elopement at home. I think I found a perfect spot! And my first couple was one of my favorite kinds of ceremonies -- a re-marriage! Marriage is hard. Sometimes decisions are made and eventually life leads you back together. After I pronounced these two married Jay said, "Jay & Wanda 2.0!"
