Purchased in 2013 by the Lytton Family, this hilltop estate has long been known for its old-growth vines which produce a variety of Temecula’s finest grapes. The Lytton Family is committed to using this premium fruit to produce some of Temecula’s finest, premium wines. The resort-like property has been extensively remodeled, and includes a lovely alfresco restaurant, a marketplace bar serving awar

d winning wine, hand-crafted cocktails and craft beer, along with a spacious tasting room, and an indoor-outdoor wedding venue with stunning views. Our Wine
Temecula’s climate is one of sunny days, evenings cooled by breezes and moisture from the Pacific Ocean only a few miles away. This microclimate is perfect for producing the rich, flavorful grapes that allow Avensole Winery to make the fine varietals and unique blends that can be found in the Avensole tasting room. Avensole wines are made in a New World California style with a focus on Zinfandel which is used to craft some of our favorite proprietary blends.

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Avensole Winery, effective immediately. After many wonderful years of serving our guests and the Temecula Valley community, we will be ceasing operations. We think it's the perfect weather for a glass of chilled Sauvignon Blanc!

Our Susan, which is fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks, offers hints of grapefruit and orange zest, followed by notes of kiwi blanketing the palate. It is framed perfectly with a generous guava finish.
