Happy wedding day Olivia & Evan! 🎉🤩🥂💐

This wedding was extra special for me. Did you know I used to teach Algebra?!?

…long story short… let’s set the scene.

During my post baby hibernation then turned covid pandemic hibernation, I long term subbed for a dear friend who might love math more than me (no way! that’s not possible 🤣)

She pulled me out of my hibernation and I got the privilege of not only teaching her class for a semester, but I also working with another awesome math teacher, Evan.

Evan would tell us stories about all the trips he took with Olivia. How they met, how they enjoy each other’s company, how they navigated working from home (and his balcony office to give Olivia her space as respect for her career).

And YES, I know you’re wondering if I asked…of course I did… “Evan, when are you gonna propose???” ”oh you’re going on a trip? That’s a great opportunity. Have you asked her Dad?”

Every wedding design is special to me. I transcend my joy of “playing with flowers” into each bouquet, boutonnière and floral installation. But this wedding was extra special for me…for obvious reasons 🤩

Cheers to Olivia & Evan for many wonderful year full of adventures and beautiful memories. 🥂

❤I really enjoyed making this arrangement and getting back to my traditional roots. But most of all, I love the power of flowers, knowing that these blooms will bring a sense of joy and peace to a grieving family.❤
