It's been bit quiet over here. With the busy summer, social media often takes a back seat when my to-do list gets too long. Between the kids being out of school, a nearly three-week cross-country road trip, and preparing for our fall weddings, it's been a hectic time.
To break the silence, I thought it would be a great opportunity to introduce myself and explain why my business is called V&V. Some people think it's because I have a partner, but the truth is, it's named after all the "V"s in my life that define me as a person. So here we go:
💫 My name is Virginia, the first "V." My mom chose my name while watching a novela at the hospital and liked it. Nothing profound about it! 😂
💫 I was born and raised in Venezuela, the second "V," a beautiful country on the northern edge of South America with the most perfect weather, people, and beaches.
💫 I live in Virginia, the third "V." I moved here because of my husband, who was born and raised in this state. It never crossed my mind that I would end up living in a state with the same name as me, but VA represents the second half of my life and where I started my family. Someone recently told me "it’s like you were meant to live here", and I think she’s right!
💫 My zodiac sign is Virgo, the fourth "V." Being a Virgo has always been a big part of my personality. I care deeply about attention to detail, and serving others brings me joy.
I should have named my kids with names starting with "V," right?
