This photo? It’s the cherry on top of one of the most genuine and sweetly intentional weddings I’ve ever witnessed.

Megan & Pieter’s planning journey wasn’t easy—life threw a few curveballs, including a pandemic-sized one. But on this day, with the golden sun warming the vineyard behind them, none of that mattered. Their love was the focus. Their joy was contagious. In honor of being back at EdenVale Winery in just a couple weeks, I had to throw it back to one of the most heartfelt and intentional weddings I’ve had the privilege to plan.

Megan & Pieter poured their love into every detail—from the custom olive oil favors to the soft, romantic palette and personalized touches that made each guest feel like royalty. This wasn’t just a celebration; it was an experience.

They didn’t just want a beautiful wedding—they wanted their people to feel seen, cared for, and truly thanked. That kind of intentionality? It sticks with you.

P.S. Did you spot the wooden clogs tucked into our floral designs? A quiet nod to Pieter’s heritage and a playful, meaningful touch we wove into the reception design. It’s always the little things that tell the biggest stories.

Watching everyone head off for spring break lately has me daydreaming about warm weather, turquoise waters, and tropical vibes—which instantly takes me back to this epic style shoot I did in collaboration with Freckled Fleurs!

This content day was magic—the energy from all the photographers and videographers on-site was next level, and every creative partner brought their A-game. I still remember how much fun we had bringing this bold, industrial tropical vision to life.

This design was the perfect blend of elevated and exotic, and it’s still one of my favorites. From the layered black and gold tableware to the dramatic palms and bold florals, every detail made a statement.

Bella’s second birthday was Minnie Mouse Rock the Dots—but make it chic.
Instead of the classic red backdrop, we leaned into black and white polka dots with pops of red and soft textures that complemented the bold red curtain in our family space.

It was modern, playful, and just a little unexpected. And as a party planner, getting to create moments like this for my own daughter? It’s the best part of the job.

For Bella’s second birthday, we wanted something smaller than her first—but still magical. Bella was obsessed with dance parties, so a toddler dance party felt like the perfect fit.

We invited a few of her little friends, picked donuts instead of cake (because Bella wasn’t into cake at the time), and designed a soft, stylish Minnie Mouse theme that felt playful and pretty.

She blew out her candles on donuts and danced her heart out—and honestly, it was everything.

Bella officially turns three this weekend… and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it.

So, as we count down to her birthday, I’m throwing it back to where it all began—her very first party. Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite moments and details from that sweet celebration.

Starting with this one: her tiny self in this dress, toddling around like a little princess. She literally held it up as she walked—graceful, silly, and totally unaware of how much magic she was already bringing into our lives.

This tablescape told a story. Each place setting a brushstroke in the pastel rainbow of Courtney’s life. Every napkin folded in a different hue, each floral arrangement dancing with ranunculus, hydrangea, sweet peas, and lisianthus in delicate blush, lavender, lemon, and peach tones.

Lahna Marie Photography captured it all with the softest lens, while Belle Fiore Winery’s terrace wrapped us in sun, sky, and vineyards. And of course, the florals were designed by none other than Susie—her spirit blooming in every stem.

This wasn’t just a luncheon. It was a love letter to a woman we treasure.

Courtney entered my world in 2019 when Susie, the late owner of Penny & Lulu, recommended me to plan her son’s 10th birthday party. What started as a client relationship turned into years of celebrations—and more meaningfully, one of the most beautiful friendships of my life.

From Christmas dinners to summer soirées, every event with Courtney has allowed me to push creative boundaries and design with full freedom. But this one? This was different. This was personal.

Her best friend Ann and I poured everything we had into honoring her—the woman who holds everyone else so fiercely, who shows up with style and heart, and who has changed my world in ways she’ll never fully know.

A surprise celebration for the kind of woman whose presence inspires beauty, intention, and joy in everything she touches đź’•

Hosted by her best friend Ann, this pastel dream was created for our dearest Courtney—someone who has brought so much color, light, and laughter into our lives. Ann and I wanted to create a memory that would stay with her forever, wrapped in beauty and layered with intention.

The design began with the softest shades of a pastel rainbow, and every detail was crafted to feel elegant yet playful. A sea of ranunculus, sweet peas, garden roses, and butterfly hydrangeas flowed across the tablescape, bursting with texture and movement—just like the joy she brings into every room.

One of my favorite elements of Aspen & Tyler’s destination microwedding at Byrdies Beach House? This. The lounge.

With help from Motif Event Rentals, we brought in plush blush seating, textural poufs, cozy throws, and pampas-drenched florals to create the ultimate relaxed vibe. Guests lingered here all night—sharing stories, holding hands, and savoring the closeness of it all.

As someone who plans luxury microweddings at Crook Point regularly, I can say this with full confidence: the magic is in the details and the feeling. Aspen and Tyler’s lounge wasn’t just a pretty corner—it was an invitation to slow down and be with the people who matter most.

It’s exactly what a destination microwedding should feel like—intimate, intentional, and full of heart.

There’s something sacred about Byrdies Beach House at Crook Point. With the wild Pacific in the distance and lush coastal forest all around, it creates a setting that’s both awe-inspiring and incredibly personal.

When Aspen and Tyler said “I do” here last September, it was one of those weddings that lingers with you long after. Every element of their day was thoughtfully designed to reflect who they are—tender, intentional, and wildly in love.

Crook Point is one of my favorite venues, I know this venue inside and out, and it still takes my breath away. But it was Aspen and Tyler who brought the true magic. Their vows, their laughter, the emotion from every guest—it was a moment none of us will forget.

Aspen and Tyler dreamed of a bohemian-inspired destination microwedding at Byrdies Beach House—and when it came to the tablescape, we wanted guests to feel wrapped in warmth and intention.

We draped the structure to gently enclose the space, creating a cozy and intimate feel despite the open coastal air. Bamboo light fixtures gave us the perfect ambient glow, and the boho textures layered across the table made the dinner feel like a shared dream.

Designing weddings at Crook Point means we get to lean into the landscape—it invites creativity and authenticity. And as someone who’s worked here countless times, I love finding new ways to make each wedding deeply personal.

For Aspen and Tyler, this dinner setting wasn’t just pretty. It was a reflection of who they are—grounded, open-hearted, and deeply connected to the people around them. 🤍
