I think it’s a good time to reintroduce my team and myself! My name is Ka’Nita. I help manage and operate a full service beverage catering and mixology company in Southern California. I was born and raised in San Diego, California.

I am a creative. I am inspired by things that grow out of the ground for human consumption and nutrition. I study the globe in regard to hospitality and traditions around celebrations. As some of you know who have been here awhile, I honor the globe through beverage and hospitality!

In my free time, I travel, listen to Audiobooks, and I recently completed a 12 week fitness and wellness program. I am a huge advocate of mental health and creating/ maintaining healthy relationships (both personal and in the work place) with ourselves first, then attracting that reciprocated energy from the our tribe where feel most safe, heard, and valued. I am grateful! I am happy!

I truly have the best clients! Thank you for creating these spaces for joy, laughter, and vibes! Thank you for hiring the private chefs, the florist, the DJ’s, and all the other hardworking vendors that come together to create and enhance guest experiences. I’m in awe every weekend.

Try not to call us last second in order for us to put or best foot forward. However, we rather you call us than not! If you are planning Halloween, Friendsgiving, Christmas, New Years! The time is now to secure us. Our books are open for 2025 and we do travel abroad or to east coast. We are competing with anyone but our highest selves. There is a ton of competition of there. Before you think of price, please think of public health and safety, first hand reputable work experience in the industry before you hire any bar service. I’m noticing companies forming who know we make good money but they do not have any firsthand bar experience. This is extremely dangerous and irresponsible. Know the difference between a standard bartender and a mixologist hand crafting cocktails in high volume.

Our first canned beverage finally made it to production this week and as is launching May 1st! I tried my best to launch during holiday season and the pieces just did not align to my standards. Patience and perseverance has paid off. I am so grateful for the learning process during the pandemic. I am even more grateful to you all who tested out my Ready to Serve products. However I created 6 holiday libations and wellness drinks inspired by holiday pie. None of them are “too sweet” ladies! They are low cal, made with fresh ingredients, and balanced perfectly. Last night we had the pleasure of highlighting bourbon in all its Glory! We featured the Mint Julep per client request. As a treat, I also highlighted other classics such as Old Fashion, Kentucky Mule. And Whiskey Sours. We enhanced these classics with Blood Orange, Blackberries, and of course Guava! Let us help course out your night with an intentional beverage list and night cap! Last night we served hot rose tea with Licor 43 and a touch of Pimms for sweetness! Night cap with us!

So, you don’t think a good bartender is necessary? You prefer to just set it out and let them fend for themselves 🫣🤢

Dragon Rose was tested this month at a corporate Mocktail Mixology mixer as well as another private celebration for a loved one returning home from Iran. It’s official! Dragon Rose will be in our 2023 menu all year! If you would like to try…. Here are a few ways to do so:

Sweet Sunrise corporate “Mocktail Mixology” night was a special evening.

The first guest to my bar (identity very confidential to maintain safe spaces) immediately whispered to me “I’m in recovery for alcoholism”. I immediately said “We are here this evening for you. Thank you for coming.” I then handed her a delicious, lovely beverage with all fresh ingredients and major wow factor.

I let her know if she ever feels tempted to break her sobriety she can reach out to me anytime for encouragement. She smiled as wide as the moon and danced the night away without feeling pressure to have a cocktail.

Some of us do not realize what ppl are struggling with. Never make someone feel guilty for not drinking.

Never feel like you have to stay home to stay sober. Go where you are safe, celebrated, and valued.

Honey, I Do is our latest hand crafted signature cocktail that is our spin on the classic Old Fashion.

I know my whiskey lovers do not mind enjoying their brand of choice neat and untainted or on the rocks with perfect whiskey cubed ice. Our version is unisex, nice, and still very direct. Our Honey Vanilla blend and Black Walnut Bitters is balanced perfectly.

This is a great non intimidating way ladies to step into the spirit forward cocktail land. Even if only for the evening. Chilly nights call for the perfect Bourbon beverage. Cheers to the weekend!

Since I genuinely enjoy hospitality, I notice my clients and your guest want to be my friend 💛

They want me to make myself at home, eat while I work (No! lol), hang out after my shift is done, meet up for drinks and dinner, some have even offered me the guest house lol. If I can be honest, I have struggled with balancing my complete professional side with my personal side.
My entire career, this was not considered professional.

says…. It takes spending 100 hours with someone before we can consider them a real friend. That’s 4 whole days or perhaps 12 encounters.

This made me think! If you are my regular, you are my friend! We have laughed together, planned together, spent hours looking out for each others best interest. For some….we are definitely on our way to being (dare I say) friends. I know and adore your children, your mothers, your significant others….

Thank you for making me feel safe, welcome, warm, and valued. I keep my head down and execute what I am supposed to but when I get time to reflect and see how far I have come. I’m grateful for each and every one of you!

Here are some things to consider before selecting your bar service:
• Have they worked in an full service upscale or high volume restaurant or bar who offers dinner service?
• Do they have more than 4 years experience operating a bar?
• Do they have positive reviews?
• Are they clean and sanitary?
• Do they have a full liquor license?
• Do they know how to make classic cocktails?
• Can they verify their food handlers card?
• Are they actual bartenders?
• Do they have an actual bar business or company?
