Alright! Another new video, This one is me on the tallest part of the roof of my flat at sunset telling, mostly all of you who actually know me and might actually care to hear about it my own view after my first month in a new country. It may have taken decades longer than I wanted, but I am SO incredibly grateful for having made this decision!

Been browsing the old hard drives as I work on some website updates and these two are some of my oldest images. They were part of the first few images I had professionally printed and mounted for gallery showings. The printed pieces ended up donated to a church in San Diego after an exhibition. I created these images circa something like 2014 when I was first learning marketing, photography and Photoshop and I’m still just as in love with them today as I was then! They were shot while hiking on Mt. Werner in Steamboat Springs, CO (separate occasions). The Yampa Valley lies in the background. There is magic in that valley folks!

Words are hard to find when I try and discuss what happened yesterday. There was literally no reason for destroying property or vandalizing anything! It had nothing to do with what we were there for and only about seven people were creating the issues!

This design symbolizes so much from my journey of becoming a Portlander. The photo was taken on my first Portland Halloween at a mostly empty warehouse party. The DJ was crushing it, but there was only one single person gettin’ down on the dance floor and the vibe radiated... I felt like the way I edited this image really encapsulated that vibe.
When I finished editing, I immediately thought 🤔 I’m gonna put that on a shirt someday... WELP, folks, TODAY is that day and it is available in the CUhlDesigns shop!

Geneva Switzerland 🇨🇭 I only had about a half a day in Geneva. I had to catch the train, so I had my friend drop me off in the morning and I decided to explore the city on foot. Switzerland is gorgeous and Geneva seemed a bit more like a small town than a big city. Quiet, serene, clean, and just all around pleasant. I would love to spend more time there again some day. Oh also it was the beginning of February and the first day of sun in a long while and if you look closely you can see a bunch of Swiss people casually swimming in the lake when it was between 40-50 degrees F. Reel 2 📽️🎞️ of my first day skiing the Alps. This was after lunch. I got lucky and the sun made an appearance. It was such a treat. In Europe the skiing is much more wide open and lacks the tree scapes that I’m used to. It was much easier to navigate when the sun came out because there wasn’t a lot of tree lines to mark the run edges. It was a gorgeous experience and such a fun unique difference even from my experience in Andorra. This day was so special it deserves 2 reels.. ✨ Reel 1 📽️🎞️ This was the 1st half of my 1st day skiing in the Alps. I originally went to Europe so that I could ski Andorra. I didn’t budget for more than one ski destination. That said, I had a friend in Lake Geneva and after many years of promising a visit, I decided to stop in before heading back to the States. We both still have the shredder stoke, so he graciously took me up to a ski at a resort not far from his place. It was a super fun day with white out conditions that opened up after lunch to a small amount of sun. Visiting the French side of Lake Geneva was like walking into a story book. When I left Barcelona, I flew into Geneva. From there I took a train to Nyon Switzerland and caught a ferry across the lake to the small village of Yvoire. There, I was treated to incredible food and long awaited company of a lifelong friend with a wonderful walking tour of Yvoire. It was nothing shy of magical!
