Our Story

We’re Diane Farmer and Jennifer Skangos! We opened Bloom Line Flowers in the fall of 2017 as part of an urban pop-up at the Reston Station on the silver line. We specialized in beautiful bouquets, house plants, succulents, orchids and cacti -- because beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. We’ve moved out of our pop-up, but are still hard at work.

Whether it’s the perfect hostess gift, a surprise for your wife or something fun and green for your office, we’ve got it covered.

Diane, a CPA, and mom of three, is an experienced florist, and prides herself in turning anyone’s idea or vision into reality. When she’s not manning the pop-up shop, she’s creating custom wedding flowers, making boutineers and corsages, or decorating for local events.

Jennifer, an entrepreneur and mom of two, handles the day-to-day business. She spends her time building new client relationships, researching new community projects (like their pro-bono work for the Friends of Oakton’s library 10 year anniversary) and is always there to help Diane put the finishing touches on a design.
