If there was a post to share this is it. The quick hits of things to know for the weekend.
- Rain or shine. Yes it rains a lot for my games, I don’t know why, but it’s also usually pretty warm. Change your socks, you’ll be fine.
- No break. We are going straight through breaks are on your own. We’re lifting the sudden strain on the food truck, pizza delivery, and local deli while also making sure the motivated players can get back whenever they want if they even leave.
- Full Auto. Yes. Enjoy. Burn that ammo, getting bbs through brush is not an easy feat. If you are within 15 feet switch to semi or a pistol. If you chrono higher than the standard limits check the rules at cousins for your engagement rules.
- Medic rule. There will be medics assigned on each team based on the pre-reg numbers. This will increase until Saturday so do your team a favor and pre reg. Players may be healed ONE time with a MSW style tourniquet or a reusable ace bandage. After 1 heal it’s back to spawn, this is the only place bandages can be removed.
- R3D team. Not the camera, I’m just a fan. They are opfor for both sides, they want to secure the same objectives but have some of their own. They are also to help balance objectives. They are not going to lure you into their own trap, they will be straight forward and help you until they are done, then they disappear.
- Raffle. At the end of the event we will raffle some gear provided by several army vets and as a way to raise some funds for as we did last year. Last year we bought the computers that almost immediately ID’d a dozen suspects. If you have any cool like new gear to donate, reach out.
- leadership. I will lead the army again this year. I am asking a few people to lead the Rebels, I’m open to suggestions in the comments. I will help whoever gets the role in making sure they have enough objectives to keep their team out there.

The Rebels are in a desperate spot. Fractured and against a barren border they risk losing their homeland if they can not find a way to create a unified front. The rebels must move supply caches to avoid army detection until they can find a place to gain a solid foothold and begin to fight back. The rebels must create an alliance among the splintered rebel forces, consolidate and push the army back on its heels before the reinforcements have a chance to drive them out of their home.

Above we have examples of how the Rebels are intended to appear. Again gear color does not matter but the uniform top and bottom are a solid color, no patterns to be found. Thanks again for putting together a prep day.

The Army has chosen to consolidate while the threat of a rebel attack remains low. As soon as the reinforcements arrive they will move out to rebuild and resupply their fort. Starting from a new position, the army will need to send patrols in all directions to collect intel on how the landscape has changed. These patrols will be solely responsible for up rooting rebel hide sites and denying them the possibility to regain their foothold. Squad cohesion is critical this time around, as these patrol units will be the base for searching and destroying any enemy encountered.

March 3 2024 : GDACxCousins
After the complete devastation left behind in the wake of the last conflict, the army forces have finally accepted reinforcements despite the risk of being replaced. They continue to wait for their arrival from the south. The Rebels being displaced from their woodland hideout have set up camp along the northern border. This has left a vacuum with a new threat appearing from deep within the forest.
