I just wanted to take a minute and let everyone know that I will taking a hiatus from photography.

Photography has always been my passion, but lately with how busy life has become- it’s been more of a chore, and it’s become something that creates more anxiety in my life than it does passion or peace.

I’m at this point in my life where I am at an ultimate burn out, and I’m not sure how much more I can stretch myself. So in order to take time for myself, I will unfortunately have to cut a few things out of my life- and one of those being photography. I hope someday to return. Who knows, maybe it will be short, maybe it will be long, or maybe it will be forever. All I know is that I am extremely grateful for all the families and people I’ve met over the years and I have loved every minute I have gotten to spend with them and capturing their most precious moments.

I do have a few galleries to send out still, and will be getting those finished and sent. I also have obligations for weddings that I still have to do in the next few months and will continue to honor those contracts of course. But after those are finished, I will be done.

The Madisons 😍 Kyle and I had the pleasure of meeting Liz and Brant through our kids being best friends, and we are so grateful for the friendship that we found in them. Of course we were delighted when they not only asked us to come to their wedding, but that if we could also shoot their wedding! The two got married on a few acres owned by Brant's family, and it was nothing short of a good time! These two sure are surrounded by such amazing friends and family, and spent their day celebrating their love along with their 5 kids. We are so happy we got to capture it all!

When one of your good friends has a baby, and asks you if they can use your sunroom and yard for a photoshoot... you obviously say "YES!" Being new parents look so good on these two, and Lyla is one lucky girl to have these sweet souls as her mom and dad. I love this little family so much and love that they continue to let me capture their biggest moments time after time ❤️

A studio shot of my beautiful little girly, and a little update 🧡

I am finally getting caught up with sessions! Tree farms are up next and will be getting sent out this week/weekend! If you wonder where you are in line, always feel free to reach out and I will estimate when you’ll receive them the best I can.

Just a PSA. It takes nothing to be kind. Photographers, especially this time of year are absolutely swamped. I don't have enough fingers on my hand to count the amount of times I have found myself up editing till 1 or 2 in the morning, just to go to bed and be back at it again. Not to mention having a household to run, kids needing to be picked up/dropped off at school, at their extracurriculars, meals needing planned, grocery shopping needing done, laundry needing wash/folded, dishes needing clean. Add on holidays and the extra burden of making sure everyone has a present and shopping for or making those presents.. I could write a book with the list that goes on and on. As much as we want to commit to editing around the clock, it just can't happen. So often times we cut into our "down time" just to make up for the extra work there is to do leaving us with absolutely no down time at all. So please give us some grace. As business owners, we don’t have your typical 9-5, and we are out here wearing a bajillion different hats.

Us photographers want to send out beautiful images that you can fall in love with and be proud to share. Many of us go into this profession with the intentions of making art, not strictly making profit only and a quick turnaround.

With that being said, thank you to everyone who has been understanding and supportive. Thankfully I have been blessed with such a great clientele who come back year after year. I wish I could be the photographer who can slap together some photos within a week, but that's just not it. But I appreciate you all who keep me busy and motivated!

Anyways, go give your photographer some words of love and encouragement. They will appreciate it more than you know 🥰

Happy Friday from the Kundingers! So happy my husband is always willing to drag all the kids out of the house so I can snag a photo with them all. He is the best!

In the last two days I have sent out 6 galleries and busy working on more! If you did fall or tree sessions with me, keep an eye out in the next day or two as those will be finished getting sent out. Cow sneaks are still getting posted as well. I appreciate the patience from everyone as I navigate busy season! I have had over 36 galleries I am working on around the clock and more shoots upcoming and doing my best to get them all out before the end of the first week of December so that you can all order your gifts and cards for Christmas if needed! This has been the first year in my photography career where I am TRULY busy, and I can't be more grateful!

First up for my cow minis is a family near and dear to my heart. My stepsons mom, and her boys 🥰 So grateful I get to capture these memories for them. Aren't they the cutest!

Also, don't mind me posting 50 sneak peeks today. My daughter is on hour 2 of taking a good nap, so mama is getting things DONE. Just sit back and enjoy!

As a photographer, we have to be prepared for anything. Weather, delays, lighting, kids who don't want their picture taken, husbands who don't want their picture taken.. you name it. In this case, the sun was going down MUCH quicker than I was expecting, so with barely any sun left we worked to get my last tree session of the day done- and let me tell you.. I was so nervous I wouldn't have enough lighting to capture these shots. But I popped on my handy dandy off camera flash onto my camera to help illuminate the subjects and adjusted my settings to the best of my knowledge and we made ✨magic✨

It just goes to show you how important lighting is. When you are looking at my work, you will see my consistent editing. Moody, timeless, golden, warm- but you'll also start to notice small changes when it was a bright and sunny day, or a golden hour with the most beautiful sunset, or a cloudy evening. It truly changes the mood of the portrait. This is why it is important to relay to your photographer exactly the vibe and mood you are going for so that we can do our best to accommodate! But just know, no matter what, will always get that shot- rain or shine.. or in this case *darkness* 😂
