Meet Player Don Walsh, who has stepped in to fill in for one of the players that had to step down.

Don’s first dip into gaming came about in fourth grade and he’s been hooked ever since. It’s now over forty years later and he’s not given up on it yet. Someday, he’ll get it right.

In the meantime, this has included a deep dive into Live Action Role-Playing, where he’s taken several turns running individual events as well as working on creative teams and acting as general manager. Between all of this running around in the woods hitting people with boffer weapons (for fun and profit), he’s found time to write an M&M Superlink book of characters covering the ages of comic books (“Deus ex Historica”) and a horror game called 4Saken (derived from the open source 4C system).

His experiences in writing and creating game worlds, campaigns, books, and LARPs within the realms of fantasy, superheroes, and horror have led him to help advise on the development of other projects, such as editing scripts for the “Nyctophobia” audio horror series (from Jincan Productions) and the independent fantasy series pilot “On Tap”. He’s also heavily involved in the Great Falls Gaming Rendezvous game con out of Great Falls, Montana.

In his free time, he camps, cooks, bakes, and enjoys cuddling with his cats and his wife, Sarah.

Oh, by the way, did he forget to mention he does all this out of New England? Yeah, born and bred just north of Boston, but his second home is definitely Big Sky Country, and looking forward to going back regularly.
