This year has been a wild one with many sharp turns and detours, it’s felt LONG but it was very necessary. It brought me to this moment where I can celebrate the end of chapters that did not serve me and the vision I have for my career, business and most importantly, my family.

2024 showered me with love and support from my family, my friends and world class event professional sisters and brothers. I’m so grateful for everyone who stopped to remind me of who (insert expletives🤭) I am and what I’m capable of! This reignited my passion for conceptualizing, creating and building for myself and others.

2024 forced me to bet on myself and follow through with the ideas and brands I’d been quietly conceptualizing over the last few years (but too nervous to launch). So as I turn the key 🔑 to our NEW Pink Wasabi Headquarters you can find my three “babies” (four, if you count Zendaya):

Creating three definitive brands allows me to continue doing the projects I’ve been passionate about with more clarity. Gaining clarity has definitely been the key 🔑 in this transformative year!

Okay, so it’s been years since Nerissa and Mutulu’s GORGEOUS wedding and I cannot even understand how I haven’t shared a close up of their tables?!? Like HOW? Short story time: If you come to me with little to no inspiration I’M HERE FOR IT! Nerissa gave me a rose quartz bracelet as her inspo. I gave her 3 mood boards with different color palates to choose from (including the blush color). She made my day and went for the Blush and Blue option 🌸🩵 Oh my heart!!!

I’ve been pretty quiet and focused this Summer so for newer followers, I’m Shari, Mommy, Wifey, Founder of (and all things) Pink Wasabi then more recently I’ve become Co-Owner of Miami Flower Walls. As if I didn’t have enough to celebrate not only am I turning the BIG 40 in exactly 2 months but 10 years ago I conceptualized, planned and hosted my first marketing event that introduced me to this incredible industry. That event was and from there Pink Wasabi evolved into the creative brand our clients have relied on to create memorable experiences and thoughtful content. It’s truly been an incredible ride thus far!

Now I LOVE what we do but I’d also be lying if I said the last 2 years have been a walk in the park, they have been anything but. However, I made the decision to focus on being more intentional and exclusive about my clients, my circle and my approach. This has allowed me to see the light at the end of the most insane 2 years of my life while being more diligent about prioritizing and protecting my peace. The love and support of my family and friends in addition to the beautiful friendships forged with clients and industry partners make the path forward a no-brainer for sure! I literally can’t wait to see what we attract in this upcoming season.

That said, I look forward to celebrating the Big 10 and the Big 40 probably for the entire month of October so brace yourselves! I’m bursting at the seams with gratitude (and some extra lbs but who’s counting?) So thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has touched my life in a positive way, especially through the storms! SO MUCH GRATITUDE!! Now LET’S PARTY!!
