I had the greatest moment and the worst moment of my life happen in 2015, and they are miraculously linked together. August 14th I married the love of my life and September 27th my father passed away unexpectedly. My wedding was the last day I got to be with my father alive. While I was in the process of wedding planning I came across a lot of wedding videos. With four years of video editing exper

ience and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting I thought to myself- I can do that. I remember telling my Dad about my epiphany and being so excited when he told me, “Go for it, you’re going to kill it kiddo.”

I came across a great opportunity with Lena Lee Photography and I did my first wedding September 26th. Before I could tell my father about the experience it was September 27th and I would be getting a phone call stating that he passed away. I will always treasure my wedding because it was truly the greatest day of my life, but it is even more special to me because it was the last day I was with my Dad. I will always have a passion for weddings because the love that is shared on that day is no greater anywhere else and there is no better way to capture the emotions than on video. I am passionate for capturing live, real emotions and my work shows it. Everyone should have their important life events filmed, and my videos will put you right back into the moment.

Finished up Nick + Margie's wedding this weekend and it made me miss Chicago!!! We've been moved into the St. Louis area for the past month now and have quickly made it home. Don't worry though - we will still forever be Bears, Cubs, Bulls, and Blackhawks fans. Congrats again you two - your wedding day was one for the books and we couldn't be happier for you!
