We were featured in the Projection, Lights & Staging News article about our use innovative use of airwall hangers for overhead lighting for dance events. This was before we changed our company name from Dance America Productions to Palm Productions and Events.

We are super-proud of the positive press we received!

Overhead lighting gives wonderful effect, doesn't directly shine in the eyes of performers and judges. The "overhead" part creates a potential safety hazard, as does any gear when mounted above people's heads, and many venues add restrictions (aka $$$) to its installation.

We are happy to light your event from above - just know it will cost more than mounting lights on towers or arches.

Tampa, FL-based Dance America Productions owner Nina Kimbrough uses Elation LED luminaires to provide high quality lighting at Dancesport competitions around the country. She travels with a clever airwall mounting system that incorporates SixPar 300™ and Cuepix Blinder WW4™ fixtures.

How to make events more memorable: our favorite part - ARCHWAYS!

Let Palm Productions and Events build an LED Entrance arch. We can even extend it to make a walkway/hallway decorated to reinforce the event theme.

Strategic decor can get the job done, too. “We find that creating distinct pathways to walk through can be intriguing because people naturally want to see what’s around the corner or on the other side of a wall,” says Maxxie Goldstein, vice president of marketing agency A.P. Keaton. “Archways with elaborate foliage and floral elements make this even more exciting and photo-worthy. Highlighting a pathway or room with dynamic lighting and projections can also create a visual guide.”

Moving guests from one room to another can be an unexpected place for some surprise-and-delight moments.

Ah, the joys of Florida. Palm Productions and Events is preparing for the impending Hurricane Idalia. We're in a rural part of Tampa (Lutz) and our neighbor's cow field is wide open (the trees look a lot closer to the trucks than they really are). He graciously let us park our trucks and trailers with the cows. You can see they're super-curious about this temporary addition to their living space. Look at all the cow legs visible under the white trailer, LOL. Moooooooooooo!

Three gigs in one weekend! Hot diggity dog, what a fabulous team! A wedding in Fort Lauderdale, the Atlanta Salsa Congress, and Tampa City Ballet's hosted Dance Now. It was a stunning evening at Tampa's WaterWorks Park.

Palm Productions and Events is thriving and growing. We offer LED video wall, sound, lighting, pipe and drape, and especially for the dance community floating, suspended portable dance floor. It is an honor to support the arts and fundraising organizations.
