I feel like i say it every year, but this @spiritualsummercamp just was so different. The energy was so welcoming, fun and understanding.
Every year, we meet up as strangers and leave as new friends and it’s the most incredible thing to watch relationships bloom out of this the way that they so naturally do.
Getting to witness it all behind the lens has its own special perks. When I’m walking around taking photos, slightly eavesdropping but not enough to know anything, just enough to hear connection and love between people sharing stories. I get this warm fuzzy feeling that you cant quite describe unless you’ve been there + felt it.

If at first you don’t succeed… try again!
That’s what I learned. Also, pay attention to labels. Double, triple check if you have to because it would’ve saved me $20 and an extra trip to the store before this session was supposed to start!
And though I got there, walked down the trail with all this stuff, realized I had the wrong sheet for the shoot, packed up all my stuff, walked it back up the trail, drove to target and back and then did it all over again… it turned out beautifully and I’d do it again if I had to but not if I had the option. You can hear that clearly in the blooper 😂
I want to do more sessions with this setting so holla atcha girl if you want in on one!!

This trip was one that our souls needed. 6 years is 6 too many long away from one of my best friends and her family.
We captured so many beautiful photos right before she brings her boy earth-side and I’m so grateful for her support and having no one else do them but me.
My heart melted into my toes from the very first “hi Tia” those girls shouted from their seats picking me up from the airport.💛

Time isn’t something you can put into your pocket and save for a rainy day.
Days are continuously fleeting and while that could be depressing for some, it will also light the fire for others.

And just like that 2022 comes to an end.
I’m so grateful for all the experiences, laughs memories, love, hardships,lessons and the roller coaster that this life is.
I have learned a lot this year, but I think the one thing that stuck with me is that you only really have yourself at the end of the day to make yourself happy, to lift yourself up, to push yourself, to forgive yourself and others.
I’m excited to see what 2023 has in store. I know that if I set my goals high- that they’re attainable, and that all I have to do is work my ass off to achieve them.
And I’m ready to do just that💥
