I describe a very important first step before you start shopping for a Professional Wedding DJ.

When writing your toast, keep in mind these 5 things:

1. Keep it short and consice. No more than 5 mins. We dont want to listen to a novel.
2. Language. Keep it as close to PG-13 as possible. We are humans and an expletive sprinkled here and there shows the authentic emotion of LOVE. 🤣 Just don't over do it.
3. It's about the couple. Don't talk about the couple's previous relationships or how you and groom partied so hard in Vegas!
4. No politics. No religion. These topics may polarize your guests and the toast is not the place to preach.
5. Do not talk about sensitive family issues. If the Groom doesn't get along with his parents, or the bride's parents are divorced and her dad attends with new partner. We don't need to know that plus it's uncomfortable.

There they are. My 5 tips in making your wedding toast a success. Make sure at the end of your speech you say "Cheers"

When creating a playlist for your wedding, make sure you have the following things in mind:.

1. Upbeat and danceable songs are for the party. DUH?
Songs that are Fun and your guests are familiar with are the ones that keep the dance floor packed. 🕺
2. Make sure you tell your DJ which songs are a "MUST PLAY" and "DO NOT PLAY". As a DJ I don't want to get the evil eye from you if I play a track you don't like. 🤬
3. Be specific when you want a particular song played during the night. Ex. You want to dance a slow song with your spouse at the end of the night.💘
4. You can have Cocktail and Dinner songs that can be upbeat yet not danceable. We don't want to put your guests to sleep. 😴
5. Let the DJ have freedom of playing the room. The DJ should be able to read the crowd and use your playlist plus whatever songs he/she has under the sleeve to make the party happen! 🎉
