Since I officially closed up the business in April, it's been a summer filled with keeping up with my own kids' crazy schedules and driving them here, there and everywhere. But, I'm thrilled I was still able to sneak in a senior session with this beautiful girl, and former neighbor! I can hardly believe she's a senior! It was the most beautiful night and she was a dream to photograph! I have loved all the free time this summer, but I sure do miss shooting these beautiful seniors. We had SO much fun last night!

Snuck in another beautiful fall session this weekend with this adorable family! Love the MN Gopher love they snuck in at the end too! SO fun! I've been meaning to do this with my own crew and Vikings gear, and now I think I need to make that happen asap! Love it!

These fall colors though..wow! This family was adorable, I had such a great time meeting them and photographing them on such a stunning fall evening, and an extra bonus was talking some favorite books with this handsome little man! I'm always up for that! Kara Quick Kreutzer

It's been so fun photograhping this beautiful family over the years! Minnesota fall sure has been putting on a show this year! The colors are stunning and this mom always does an incredible job styling them for their photos! Love these!

I got to head to Iowa this weekend to photograph one of my favorite guys and seniors, my cousin Jaxon! He did so awesome at his session and I absolutely loved every spot we went. It's always fun exploring and shooting in new areas!

It's always fun to change it up and shoot in the morning, and we had a variety of lighting as it quite overcast as a storm was rolling in, we had a brief rain delay, and then the sun came out, so we had lots of fun options! Also, the teddy-shirt might be a fave outfit I've had! There was no way we could do any serious looks when he was wearing a shirt as awesome as that!

Every once in awhile I get the opportunity to photograph a former student and it is just the best treat to see how my “kids” have grown! I knew this guy as the sweetest first grader many years ago at Jonathan Elementary, and it was so much fun last night to see him and his mom, and capture these photos for him before he begins his senior year! Owen, I know you are going to do amazing things! It was so great to see you last night!

I had SO much fun getting back behind the camera last night on the most beautiful night with this stunner of a senior! I took a pretty big step back from photos this summer to focus on some family time and take a little breather after this crazy year, but I sure have missed it! We had so much fun last night! As you can see, I had a very hard time narrowing down a few favorites! ;)

I just love this sweet family! We started their session, got rained on, and then ventured back out just in time to sneak out a few more before it started raining again! But I LOVE the fall wonderland feel of these photos, and the rain actually kind of gave everything a bit of a rich fall feel!

Full preview of this beautiful girl! After some stormy weather today, we ended up with a stunner of a night for a stunner of a senior! We shot a few here in town before we headed over to Excelsior, one of my very fave places to shoot! Loved how everything turned out tonight! Hair and Makeup by Schmitt Kruger.

I got to shoot a stunning senior in one of my favorite spots tonight! Pretty good way to spend a Monday evening! We ended in the water, and there was a most perfectly placed rock! How beautiful is she in this stunning sunset light?!

When you’re a football player and you have your senior session the week you find out football is being pushed to spring due to this crazy time we’re in, you have to capture it right?! When this senior got out of the car in this blue suit, I knew exactly the spot we needed to go, and I LOVE all of them! This was our first location, and the first 5 photos I've edited! I just love this whole look! I love when guys add a suit in their session! So sharp and handsome! Can't wait to get to the rest. I'll definitely share more soon, but I couldn't narrow down a fave look from this spot, so I had to share a few!
