Well hi there! It's me, Danielle. Lots of new faces here so I figured I would pop in and say hello!

Today, I am celebrating my 36th birthday. Really, it's the close of my 36th year if you think about it. Most people think I'm still in my 20s when they meet me and I'm not sure if that is my personality or the fact that I stopped growing in 1998 but either way, I will TAKE it. [If anyone has feedback there, send it my way... but be gentle. 😅]

This year has been amazing, I haven't been overloaded with summer events as in years past but I AM gearing up for a very busy fall season! A light summer event schedule has allowed for me to do some fun networking events - one of which was at the beautiful where these lovely photos were taken by the fabulous Leidy and Josh .fourniers. I love, love, LOVE connecting with other wedding professionals, and networking in such a beautiful space just makes it THAT much more enjoyable.

I am so, so grateful for all of the amazing people I've met in the wedding industry and I am so beyond excited to see what this next year brings!

Let's talk Unplugged Ceremonies!

First and foremost this may be my favorite recessional dip photographed to date! [Shoutout to Kate English Photography] These wonderful guests listened to the officiants message to put AWAYYYY the devices and to be present during this beautiful ceremony of love and look at this PHOTO! Guests are clapping, cheering, smiles... NO PHONES! A Christmas (slash wedding) miracle!

It is truly a beautiful thing. As a wedding planner, it brings me so much joy to see a photo like this without cell phones pulling away from the beauty of this once-in-a-lifetime moment.

We know, we know; you all want to get your perfect shot of the couple but theres a photographer that is being paid generously to capture these moments, and to capture them professionally.

A really fun way to allow guests a photo op is at the beginning of the ceremony before anything begins. One minute to take as many photos as they would like and then phones go nite nite for the remainder of the ceremony.

You guys, I am a yuuuge foodie. Not "foodie" as in I eat copious amounts of it BUT "foodie" in the sense of the nourishment that I put into my body must be delicious, high quality and, MOST importantly, made with love.

I don't know that I've ever seen not only such a unique and hand crafted hors d'oeuvres display but this spread was absolutely-100%-without-a-doubt, made with love for both food AND people. ❤

I have so many clients that have uncertainties surrounding table design. Centerpieces can get pricey and then you've got that pesky budget that keeps showing its ugly face. So how do you get the look without breaking the bank?

The difference between standard white poly linens and even something like a neutral ivory or taupe is HUGE! It can completely change the look of the space with little to no effort and minimal cost. Don't be afraid to play with color, textures and pattern. You may be pleasantly surprised with how much a little bit of color can elevate your space and complete the look.

Nat and Bry wanted a cake table that wow'd and Ryke's Bakery & Café and Bailey and James d-e-l-i-v-e-r-e-d! The cascading florals down the tiers of the cake then wrapping around the base of the cake stand left me wanting to cancel cake cutting to preserve this masterpiece forever...

Just kidding! The top tier was LEMON 🍋 and I could not WAIT for these two to make the first cut. 🍰🍾

I'm going to take you back to a day that will forever go In my books as one of my favorites. Not only because Natalie and Brian's wedding day was so perfect but because planning this wedding was nothing short of an adventure. Getting to know the couple through the process, I quickly realized the details were very important to them. Immediately had my heart. We worked endlessly to make sure everything came together just right, and it sure did.

This couple and their ENTIRE family were a tremendous pleasure to work with (and break bread with!). So blessed I can call you all my friends and so excited to share photos from Nat and Bry's perfect fall wedding day. ❤
