This month we challenged Hendrick House kitchen employees (all Betsy's Bistros, HH kitchen, and Betsy's Bistro Catering) to make creative and inventive dishes using strawberries 🍓
The winners (without any doubt) are Betsy's Bistro at the Fields!
They made so many dishes but the house made Strawberry Mostarda (a sweet, tangy, mustardy jam) takes the cake!
Congrats BB at the fields!

Today was a soul food and comfort food kind of day! Meatloaf at Phi Delta (check the previous post) and Jamaican soul food day at delta chi fraternity!! Chef Ranadia made Baked jerk chicken with fried cabbage, baked macaroni and cheese and red beans and rice with a sweet dinner roll. 🍗🍛😋 Yum!

Today for lunch at Tri Delta, the ladies had buddha bowls with a ton of different components and sauces to choose from! Pictured is a bowl with a little bit of everything: tofu, sweet potato, chicken, carrots, cabbage, edamame, broccoli, cauliflower, chickpeas, and creamy avocado sauce! 💯They also had fresh fruit and ice-cold cucumber water: so refreshing! Hendrick House Food Service is dedicated to bringing fresh, local, and healthy food options to students at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. In addition to the students in numerous Fraternities and Sororities, Hendrick House provides service at Armory, Newman Hall, Hendrick House Dorm, Betsy’s Bistro at Parkland, Betsy’s Bistro at The Fields, and other local businesses.

WE PRODUCE LOCAL: Hendrick House proudly grows a portion of our produce on local farmland located on the outskirts of town. Ann, our chef turned Farm Director, supplies fresh produce to all our Greek chefs, as well as our other accounts.

WE LIVE LOCAL: Hendrick House is the only Greek food service provider that exists entirely and exclusively on the University of Illinois campus. We believe that focusing on this campus and this community allows us to provide a superior service because our chefs and our managers never have to concern themselves with what’s happening two states over.
