It's official! Kevin Bilek is the Grill Master of Hendrick House for 2022!
His grilled ribs and wings, paired with a little bit of asparagus won the Social Media Challenge this month!
He also put out some amazing smoked ribs and smoked brisket!
Congrats Kevin!
Shout out to Chef Jon Curtis and the crew at Varsity for participating in this month's social media challenge! 🔥
Notable credit goes to the ladies at Betsy's Bistro at The Fields for also putting out some awesome, creative, and beautiful grilled goods that incorporated Hendrick House Farm produce! (also pictured in this post)! 😍

This month we challenged Hendrick House kitchen employees (all Betsy's Bistros, HH kitchen, and Betsy's Bistro Catering) to make creative and inventive dishes using strawberries 🍓
The winners (without any doubt) are Betsy's Bistro at the Fields!
They made so many dishes but the house made Strawberry Mostarda (a sweet, tangy, mustardy jam) takes the cake!
Congrats BB at the fields!

Pastrami lovers across the country look forward to their favorite sandwich on January 14th as they recognize National Hot Pastrami Sandwich Day.

Popular delicatessen meat, pastrami is usually made from beef. Others make their pastrami sandwich with pork, mutton, or turkey. Before refrigeration, butchers originally created pastrami as a way to preserve meat. To make pastrami, they placed the raw meat in brine. Then they partially dried it and seasoned it with various herbs and spices to be smoked and steamed.
