It was a perfect day for Katie & Garrett to say, "I do!" Katie was the most gorgeous bride, the venue was awesome, and the dessert table was plentiful. Desserts were lemon, strawberry, white almond, chocolate/chocolate chip & red velvet cupcakes, chocolate and vanilla cake balls, and the cutting cake was white almond with almond buttercream.

With my daughter's and son-in-law's birthdays coming up this weekend (on the same day!), I made sets of "just them" cookies for their birthday celebration. Shipped 48 cookies to TX and they arrived safely there today! They are all lemon shortbread with lemon icing, as requested! (The pictures afterward are the photos I used for inspiration.)

MaryLynn and her friends are gonna party- and with cookies! This was a fun theme to do, I must say. And the "salt" around the rim of the margarita glass was a touch of genius, if I do say so myself. ha!
