Busy year ahead for AFC. Started off today with pasta for 350 for dixon crab feed. We will be supplying all the food and crab next Saturday for the 1st annual Admirals Crab feed in Vacaville. Our first wedding of the year next weekend as well. Looking forward to a successful year.

I am always reminded every week how lucky I am to have the best family and friends taking care of all our clients. Very busy month so far and we will finish this month with around 32 jobs. Some enjoying our beautiful tasting room. Great way to end the year. Happy holidays from AFC.

So things finally slowing down just a little bit. Last wedding of the year this weekend. What a wild year this has been
We have catered alot of emergency weddings and alot of bride and groons who have waited 2 years to get married. We are just ready for our Thanksgiving break and will be around for all the Christmas parties that we missed so much from last year. I think the last 2 years have taught me a huge lessons on who I can trust, depend on and who will always be here for us. I have also learned that there are alot of people that are quick to take advantage of all our hard work. Let's do what we always do, persevere. Happy Thanksgiving from the AFC Family!

AFC ending the month on a high note.
Senators dinner tonight in Sacramento, Farm Credit West luncheon on Thursday and we close out the weekend with our last wedding of the year at Yolanda Ranch, Apple Hill wedding and my Dad and Sharon's 50th wedding anniversay here at the tasting room.
Happy 40th birthday to Sean who is off this week for a much deserved vacation. Happy Halloween everyone. Be safe.

We are 3 weekends out to finally having a break
2 more weddings this weekend and we didnt let the rain get us down.
2 more special anniversaries this month as well. A 50th and a 60th. It's been an amazing fall season and I have overworked my AFC family but they always come through. Grateful for alot this year.

This week with the AFC crew. We have the honor of catering supervisor Duane Chamberlins retirement party at The Taber Ranch, the Celebration of Life for Richard Rominger here in Winters, Yolanda Ranch wedding, the Emigh Dixon wedding and another Celebration of Life for the Timothy family in Woodland. An amazing crazy busy month so far. Wish us luck and it sure feels good to be busy.

Starting at a private estate in Dixon and Taber Ranch on Friday, the beautiful Seka Hills winery and back to the Monk Ranch on Saturday and on Sunday we celebrate a 50th Anniversary in the tasting room. Tough week for AFC this week. Cattlemans dinner on friday night without my dear friend Joe Gates. U will be forever missed at these events.
We have weddings and fundraisers, tacos at Turkovich, coaches dinner all this week. Never boring and always something new happening in our family business. Hard work but very rewarding.
Open house on September 19th at the new tasting room. Come for great vendors, great food and plan your wedding in a day. Hope to see u there.

Thought I would catch everyone up on how AFC is doing so far this year. We just had our annual AFC party at cr25 this last Saturday we were missing a few people but the food and music were amazing as usual. Thank u Troy and Hortencia for joining us.
We have alot to celebrate. We made it through the most difficult year and a half and came out on the positive side. Still going to be busy this fall with tons of weddings, some people waiting up to 2 years! Grateful for my family and all those wonderful people that work so hard with me. You mean everything to me. I have so many people tell me how lucky I am to still have dedicated people. I already knew. Let's get through this year and show everyone what it's like to be a team of people who really care about each other! Always been grateful but never more than right now.

Bittersweet day today. We celebrated the life of a wonderful man. Joe Gates, I will never forget you. You touched so many peoples lives and it was so great to hear all the stories about your life today. Rest in peace Joe. Until we meet again.

Well the start of 2021 has had a few bumps but we are working hard to get this year rolling. We have missed all of our yearly events and hoping to see you all again this year. Please stay in touch and keep us in mind as things start to re open. Our new tasting room is beautiful and we are busy booking the CR25 venue as much as possible.
I lost a very good friend a few weeks ago so I really want everyone to spend as much time as you can with the ones you love. I dont think I will ever get over this one. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as we try to get on with our lives a little at a time.

I have waited a really long time to post an update on how AFC is doing these days. That's because it has been an incredibly hard year. We were able to finish our new building, & tasting room, which is so beautiful. But we were hoping to host a few holiday parties. Well with that not happening we will get through this winter like we always do, look forward to an amazing 2021, lots if events starting in the spring so if we didnt get to cater your event this year we will be more than ready to help. We are grateful and blessed in so many ways and when I look back on this year what I think about is how I could not of done this without the family and of course my AFC family. You are always there no matter what. I love and appreciate you all so much. We are healthy and ready for a new start. I miss everyone so much. Happy healthy holidays to you all.

Another great tasting last night. 40 people, great turn out. We are blessed to have so many wonderful clients. It just gets better every year.
Had a Baby shower for the Hurtado Family on Saturday. Love having people come to us and let us take care of all their party needs. Never gets old.

AFC at it again this weekend. Nothing but amazing weddings today at Lawley Ranch, Yolanda Ranch and Mare Island Brewing Co. With the amazing DJ Barnett. Tomorrow we finish with Taber Ranch and a retirement party in Vacaville. 5 more wedding weekends and then we get a much deserved break. Thanks to my family and crew for all the hard work. It is so appreciated.

AFC always on the go. 5 events over the weekend. Dixon wedding, Sunrise Rotary dinner and Stoll though History apps at the Lincoln tomorrow. Sunday Taber Ranch wedding and the Mondavi center for a 80th birthday party for a special client that we have known for years. Could not be more excited for u Patti Donlon.. You are one of a kind and we are honored to be apart of this day. And the food!!!. Amazing!!!

What an amazing week for AFC. 9 jobs done, crew exhausted but did an amazing job as always. We will celebrate you all this coming weekend with a big party and lots of thank yous. I cannot do this without u all. I so appreciate all the hard work.

So we have been asked alot lately about having a taco bar inspired menu for our events. So last nights wedding, 260 guests, grilled chipotle chicken and carne asada, with my own marinade of course, blacks beans, tex mex caesar salad, homemade red and green salsas, onions and cilantro. Flour and corn tortillas warmed on our new flat grill. All cooked on site with a full service staff and bartending all night. I think May has been challenging but ended on a delicious note.
Thanks to the family and crew for working so hard this month especially with the rain. So much more to come and a couple surprises too.

Another crazy weekend. Rain is definitely not a brides friend. Managed 4 weddings this weekend with alot of craziness and changes. Also 3 nights if Winters Theatre and we can call this weekend a wrap. AFC crew and family you always amaze me how hard u work and get through some of the hardest jobs ever. Next couple weeks we will be complaining about the heat.

Crew off to our 2nd fundraiser this weekend. Fed 270 at NRA prime rib last night off of 4 bbqs. Tonight tri tip and bacon wrapped pork loin for Woodland Christian. Going to be a wonderful mothers day weekend. Tomorrow we celebrate. Happy Mothers day!!!
