March Lei Workshop by Hana Lei! It’s the origami flower lei!! YES, origami paper flowers!!! You will learn how to make multiple different flowers with origami papers and will put together to make a lei! Bring your child(ren) with you. Under 5 years old might be a bit difficult but 5-10 years old can do with their parents and pay only $15 for your child with an adult registration. You may make one for your child and one for yourself. If you just want to make one lei with your child, just pay one adult ticket (but make sure to let me know at the registration). Come have fun! It will be on Sat, March 1st 4-6pm at Da Coconut Cafe - Hawaiian BBQ & Poke in Temecula. You can also enjoy lots of choices of island food there!! I hope to see you there!!

Aloha!! Kana from Hana Lei, here! This is Johnny, I met him years ago when he landed at Horses of Tir Na Nog, non profit animal rescue and sanctuary in San Diego, CA. Johnny was an agent of US Border Patrol for 12 years, now he is retired and lives at the sanctuary with lots of friends. Horses of Tir Na Nog does amazing job accepting and caring horses in need including many mustangs and other livestock animals. This year, I’m sponsoring Johnny by on-going fundraiser with my leis, wreaths and tropical flower arrangements. 10% of every my creations purchased by all of you go to be donated specifically for Johnny. I will donate 10% of my total sales every three month to Horses of Tir Na Nog for Johnny for his feed and any necessary vet cares. So please help me help Johnny and Horses of Tir Na Nog. You can also go on to their website, horsesoftirnanog.org and check out all animals in need of sponsors and you may become an amazing donor too!! My very last wreath creation of 2024!! Reflecting of very congested year but was hanging there to coordinate and balance the colors and shapes. I hope you had a great 2024, if you had a year of challenges as I did, keep your head up, keep your feet on the ground, keep moving forward! Aloha!! First Lei Workshop in 2025 is here!!
Lei Po’o workshop on Sunday, Jan. 26th 10am-1pm at Hula Studio in Fallbrook, CA!! You will learn to make a head crown or a chest lei of your choice by using raffia and CA winter flowers! We will start by short meditation session with Hawaiian chanting, then jump into making lei!! You will go home with your own lei and a little gift (a roll of sage) to fresh start the new year! You will have an amazing time and will taste a bit of island spirit! So come join us!! A ticket is $70, included all supplies, instructions, refreshments and lots of aloha! Mahalo Nui Loa to everyone who joined us this Sunday Lei Kui Making Workshop with Wines & Food Board in Fallbrook! It was really fun class with amazing ladies! We couldn’t get plumeria blooms from my amazing supplier/plumeria grower for this event but our wonderful communities from Fallbrook, Valley Center and Escondido had stepped up and supplied us tons of plumeria blooms and I am so grateful! 🙏🏽💕 In fact, one of the lady who shared us her blooms from her yard wanted to know what I’m going to use the blooms for, when she found out about my workshop, she jumped in to sign up with her friend! A generous couple who grow a huge plumeria trees at their front of the house shared us a few cuttings. Through my workshop, I had met with many amazing people in our communities. I’m so grateful for my horsie friends and hula sistas came join us and support my program. It was truly memorable and blessing day to close my 2024 fresh flower lei workshop. Wait, but it’s not over yet! We have one more Ti-Leaf lei workshop before this year ends so keep your ears and eyes open for the announcement!! A huge thank you to @showmeyourhootery.boards for such a beautiful food boards we all enjoyed, @frangipaniestatewinery & @fallbrookwinery for their top line wines, and @westkauaisun for letting us having this event at her studio! Here is to the closing the doors of graduation 2024 with some of the highlights of my leis this grad season. I’m sitting here to recap and reviewing how everything went this grad season and preparing with notes to the next year. This was my very first year as an official business. I’m so grateful!
