I pushed through last night at Spooky Sip & Shop hosted by in Valley Center with my lei stand represented for and tonight at Sunset Social hosted by Valley Center Chamber of Commerce, I donated a fresh flower lei kui and a ti-leaf bottle lei for their raffle prizes. I’m unfortunately in the middle of life-depression right now but I pulled through it. It was fun nights!!

We are always a student of life! I went to the lei making workshop by Gina, .mindful.lei from Oahu on Saturday at Pigment in North Park. It is always thrilled to be a student to learn new and different things. Everytime I take workshop or class from Kumu (teacher) or fellow lei maker, I always learn something new or different from what I’ve been doing. It was so fun to meet new people too. .mindful.lei taught us also to be mindful while making lei and gave us amazing energy by meditating and chanting for us. I can’t wait to join her workshop again!!

What a fun and amazing Sunday Tiki Time at Old Town Temecula yesterday!! Thank you, Meheula Music Productions for having us, and West Kauai Sun for letting me have my lei stand under your misty canopies! It was great united with the owner & staff from Da Coconut Cafe - Hawaiian BBQ & Poke (it’s been a while!) and the music again by Slack Key Ohana was so much fun!! Thank you, Atkinson Plumeria for the tons of beautiful plumeria blooms for this event lei project. Mahalo to people who came by and shop & chat with us!!

Mahalo Nui Loa to everyone who joined us this Sunday Lei Kui Making Workshop with Wines & Food Board in Fallbrook! It was really fun class with amazing ladies! We couldn’t get plumeria blooms from my amazing supplier/plumeria grower for this event but our wonderful communities from Fallbrook, Valley Center and Escondido had stepped up and supplied us tons of plumeria blooms and I am so grateful! 🙏🏽💕 In fact, one of the lady who shared us her blooms from her yard wanted to know what I’m going to use the blooms for, when she found out about my workshop, she jumped in to sign up with her friend! A generous couple who grow a huge plumeria trees at their front of the house shared us a few cuttings. Through my workshop, I had met with many amazing people in our communities. I’m so grateful for my horsie friends and hula sistas came join us and support my program. It was truly memorable and blessing day to close my 2024 fresh flower lei workshop. Wait, but it’s not over yet! We have one more Ti-Leaf lei workshop before this year ends so keep your ears and eyes open for the announcement!! A huge thank you to @showmeyourhootery.boards for such a beautiful food boards we all enjoyed, @frangipaniestatewinery & @fallbrookwinery for their top line wines, and @westkauaisun for letting us having this event at her studio! Here is to the closing the doors of graduation 2024 with some of the highlights of my leis this grad season.
