Yes, I love to Country Dance.
I am quite proud to say I closed down many local country music venues over the years . (The Flower Drum was open until 4am every Friday and Saturday night.)
Back when we had lots of places to choose for live country music I was dancing seven nights a week, and teaching three nights a week through the late '80s and early '90s.
I continue to teach every week. This month is the 40th anniversary of me being a country dance instructor.
With a few short breaks here and there, I taught lessons every week at Jubitz/Ponderosa Lounge from 1985 to 2009.

I purchased these Dance Sneakers recently. They are very comfortable and are great for pivoting on the dance floor.
I wore them once. - They just won't work for me because I have been dancing in western boots for 35+ years, and I am just not comfortable dancing flat footed.

I paid $130 + shipping, and purchased extra insoles. I am wondering if anyone would be interested in buying them from me. at a discount ?

This is the lesson I will be teaching at Lucky's RoadhouseSunday 11/10 at 6pm.

"Traveling Cha Cha", Choreographed by my friends Dennis & Connie McGuire from Napa, CA. I spoke to Connie today, hoping she might have a link to a video of she and Dennis doing Traveling Cha Cha - but alas, she did not.

I had the pleasure of learning the dance directly from Dennis and Connie. (Vern and I used to fly down and visit them at there home in Napa occasionally)

This demo isn't exactly as choreographed, but very, very close.
