📣Market Update 11/14 - Canceled
We’re canceling today’s market because we received very low vendor interest and not enough vendors to make this event happen. With events centered around sex-positive and body-positive creators, a lot of things work against these type of events in Vancouver WA, many people here decide anything related to this kind of art is “obsence”, new creators don’t always feel comfortable signing up, and a lot of supporters choose to attend events outside of Vancouver instead. And on our end, we didn’t reach the right communities the way we needed to, which made it even harder to build this event the way it deserved.
But let us be clear, this is the exact kind of art and community we already support at Our 3rd Space.
We work with creators in this lane, including local artists like because our space is built to be judgment-free, expressive, and open to everyone. We want these makers to have a place in Vancouver where they can show up safely, sell their work, and be welcomed without fear of being judged or shut down.
Our goal is to help this part of the creative community grow here, not push it somewhere else. But to do that, we need to connect more deeply with the people who actually understand and support this work. If you have experience, insight, or connections in this area, we’d genuinely appreciate your help. We want to continue creating events that uplift these artists in a real and sustainable way.
