- Our Day Of Hot Pickup menu is fully cooked and ready to serve as soon as you get home.

- Our Day Before Heat and Serve menu comes prepared in pans with clear reheating instructions so you can handle the finishing touches on your own schedule.

Both menus include homemade holiday staples made in our Vandergrift kitchen, sized for families, office groups, and larger gatherings. You pick the package, choose your sides or desserts, and reserve your pickup window.

✨Tommy’s Catering Fall Tasting Event ✨

Tommy’s Catering's next tasting is Sunday, October 19th. Our next after this one will be in the Spring.

Our signature item is a Steamship Round of Beef that’s usually 80 pounds or so. You might have sampled it at a Bridal Show. We’ll also have a Turkey Breast Carving Station and Brisket upon request.

Portions are kept small so that you can try many items. For instance, we have:

• 7 Chicken entrées
• A Pasta Action Station with 7 homemade sauces and 2 pastas
• About a dozen BBQ items
• Wedding Soup
• 3 Pie Flavors
• Several Appetizers

If you don’t have time for a tasting before your wedding, we save some samples from the tastings like chicken entrées and sauces. In case we can’t match up the menu from upcoming events with the items you’re most interested in, we should still have some frozen samples available.

We don’t recycle food. It all goes to Vandergrift Meals on Wheels and a few families with special needs kids. But we do save some samples from our last tasting. (A lot of venues and some caterers recycle their food. We don’t.)

The tasting is held at a very nice venue that’s a great value and close to our shop: Oklahoma Schoolhouse Hall, in the suburbs of Apollo. We travel within 100 miles of Pittsburgh for weddings.

Brides can bring up to 6 guests so you can include those whose opinions you value. Your group will have its own round table.

We’ll also have displays of related items like linens, china upgrades, Night Cap Bars, RAMP Certified Bartenders, and more. You’ll get to meet many of our crew members.

RSVP is necessary so that we know how much food to prepare for each seating.
Occasionally we bring our unique VW Grill and cook up marinated chicken, portabella mushrooms, pineapple, and more.

Grill Party Catering with Tommy’s Catering

From sizzling burgers to smoky kebabs, this grill party was packed with flavor and happy guests.
