We had an amazing time at our first Holiday Family Fun Event, Rockin' at the Ridge. We had about 100 people attend! Thank you to the volunteers from Portland CSL who came to help and to all of our sponsors (MORE Realty, Vernonia's Voice, Buckshot Betty's, Bobcat Cutting, Anonymous, West Oregon Electric, Rusty Nail Vernonia). Thanks to the Rusty Buckets for playing at the event. Big thanks to the staff team that put this event together ( Marilyn Sprague, Carol Sohler, Michelle Geyer, Dee Barklow and Chelsea Taylor) and the staff who worked today and made the magic happen.

We've been busy with moving the Vernonia Village Youth and Family Enrichment Program to Camp this week. Our kids are loving it! If you'd like your child to attend our Holiday Day Camp (no charge for those enrolled in Vernonia School District -$600 for all others) registration ends 12/18 and we are likely to reach capacity, so please don't wait!

Thank you again to all of our volunteers, donors, and wonderful staff who helped us host, ThanksRidging, yesterday. Now, we are on to the next event. Marilyn Sprague and Terri Lahti were already decorating for Christmas at 8:00 AM, this morning!🎄
Our last community event of the year, is next Saturday, December 7. This is a family fun event with crafts, cookie decorating, tractor drawn hayrides, lunch, dessert, and a visit from 🎅!
