A vintage daydream.

This was a really special wedding for me, because Madison and Eric were actually the FIRST clients I officially booked after starting my planning business. I had been coordinating weddings non-professionally for several years, and had JUST taken the leap into the professional world, which I shared with them during our initial phone call. I remember Madison (a true girl’s girl) saying, “We actually love the idea of hiring someone brand new and helping you get your start.” I don’t even know how to express what that meant to me.

To see this wedding come to life was such a blessing. The love between these two is palpable; they are so in-sync and so obsessed with each other, it’s infectious. I loved every moment - even the stressful ones.

Cheers to Madison & Eric - may you enjoy many, many years of joy and light. 🪩✨

The last few months leading up to the wedding, Cassandra said multiple times, “I feel like we should just go for it and have a full-blown Christmas wedding.” She loves the holidays (minus the cold weather), and her husband Rylan loves her, and I love them both, so finally we said, “What’s stopping us?”

Off we went to purchase every flocked floral and string of lights we could find. We paired whites and golds with pops of burgundy and blue, accents of South African flowers and music (to honor the bride’s home country) with rustic accents (to honor the groom’s southern roots), and swaths of fabric draped from the venue’s gorgeous vaulted ceilings (shout-out to Cassandra’s family for spending hours helping us bring this to life). The result speaks for itself - a wintry wonderland of glitter and light.

This was such a special wedding for me because the clients were two of my very best friends. Cassandra’s entire family flew in from all over the world to celebrate her, many friends and family from both sides traveled from across the country and globe, and the bride and groom had huge smiles on their faces the whole night - as you can see from the goofy grins captured in these incredible photos. There was so much love in the room you could physically feel the glow of it.

Congratulations to the Dreiers. It was truly a joyful night I was honored to be a part of.

This wedding was the definition of “less is more” - the venue came with GORGEOUS antique pieces and stunning scenery, so the couple opted for simple decor to let the location speak for itself. Can you believe the bride made these floral pieces herself using wood flowers?

I was so grateful for Camille and Manny’s clear vision for their big day - it made it such a breeze to play my part. Pro-tip: most wedding planners are Type A (that’s why we’re great at our jobs), and that means we ~love~ a Type A couple. They speak our language! The more specific you are with your vendors about your wants and needs, the easier it is for us to bring them to life.

This rustic Stock the Bar party was so much fun to put together!

I made the frames using matte spray paint (hand-sanded to give them an aged look), cheese cloth ordered from Amazon, and faux greenery I picked up at Walmart. We hung them from the trees with twine and they made an adorable photo backdrop!

The centerpieces are made of faux florals, liquor bottles gifted by guests, and miniature vases I already had.

The mini-pies are some of my favorite to whip up - key lime for the bride, and Oreo pie for the groom. The sangria came from Sam’s Club - $7 a bottle!

Nothing like an ocean-themed baby shower to celebrate a mommy and daddy-to-be!

In lieu of a traditional guestbook, we made a set of ABC blocks that guests got to sign, along with late-night diapers and advice cards. Guests loved getting to leave their personal touches for the future parents.
