Sometimes I create just for myself.

Because my soul needs it.

Often times after I receive bad news, a disappointment, or even criticism, creativity is what brings me a sense of peace again.

The last four days, all of those scenarios came, right upon the heels of one after another.

I tried enjoying several other experiences this morning that usually bring me peace and calm, but it wasn’t until I gathered the flowers, smelled their fragrance, and put them together in this basket arrangement that my heart felt right again.

Our tulips are popping, so it’s GIVEAWAY time!

This new parrot tulip is the first of our specialty tulips to bloom this year. Many more varieties to bloom in the coming weeks and before we know it peonies and lilacs will be here!

The tulips and daffodils definitely make it feel like Spring has truly arrived!

We have 10-stem bunches available for porch pick up here at the farm or you can find them this weekend!

Just look at these beauties

Have you ever wanted a garden filled with fragrant ruffly roses?

I always had, but never thought it would be possible, yet here I am years later with thousands of these fragrant blooms dotted throughout our gardens here at the farm

Their beauty and scent give me such a sense of peace and calm

I remember one day when my daughter was feeling in a funk and I went right out and cut a few blooms for her. I told her to breathe in their perfume end it instantly lifted her spirits

Flowers truly have such a healing ability and I absolutely love working with them to create beautiful arrangements
