🐙 Balloon Octopus 🐙
SCUBA was the theme for my churches Vacation Bible School this year and one of the characters was a fuchsia octopus. I knew a balloon octopus would be perfect! Luckily for me my friend the very talented @featheredfoxdesignsla has a class on how to make this gem. I highly recommend this class!!! The octopus class is still available for purchase and is linked in her bio. Hurry its a steal for only $47
As a kid I remember loving the week of VBS and I looked forward to it all year. It’s such a good feeling to be able to donate balloons that go with such fun themes. What my church @stjohnsivyland and churches across the country do during their weeks of VBS is so important. We live in a crazy world and I believe faith in God is what will help my boys navigate this world. VBS teaches them the fundamentals of our faith and I am very thankful to all the volunteers that put so much time and effort into making this amazing for all of the children that attend.

HAPPY 4th OF JULY
This was a last minute idea when my son said this morning “I can’t wait to see our 4th of July balloon”😬 oops so I quick made this bow.
Of course we are our own worst critics but the blue loops needed to be bigger and the 100 vinyl stars I printed were way too small. I might try to fix it up a bit tomorrow but at the same time I really just want to leave it and have a relaxing day. Hope you have a relaxing, fun, and safe 4th 🧨

❣️SJU GRADUATION ❣️
I’ve said it before and I will say it again graduation balloons DO NOT need to be in the school colors or boring 😅 These balloons were in the school colors but they were far from boring. The huge columns and vines provided a space to do something a tad different. I wanted the balloons to look like they were coming out of the vines. Not sure I necessarily achieved that but they did look pretty cool. It’s fantastic to work with people who trust me and my work enough to just let me do my thing!!!
Another fun fact about this day is it was 98 degrees and felt like 106 with 85% humidity. Needless to say the heat and sun stress me out. I always use white or my lightest shades of balloons in the spots that will get the most sun and I was able to tuck the darker shades into a more protected spot without losing any curb appeal lol. Remember balloons and balloon artists do not do well in the direct sun ☀️
