A few wheel highlights from Sim Racing Expo 2024.

For all Fanatec’s challenges, they still have some fantastic OEM licensed wheels. I mean...just look at that Porsche Vision GT Wheel!

Also - I have to mention the P1 Sim Peugeot wheel. We have little exposure to the Peugeot brand here in the USA. But holy cow. That wheel just felt RIGHT in hand. Pictures don’t do it justice.

Finally - Asetek made a BIG splash with the new Invicta wheel. FUN FACT: I saw a prototype of this wheel last year at PRI while hanging out with the Asetek VIP’s. Very cool to see it finally make its public debut!

“Simulations are becoming increasingly important, whether in race preparation or in the development of both our racing and road vehicles. From a business and environmental perspective, they save resources and are therefore even more sustainable than tests and prototypes in the analogue world. Of course, the simulations used in the development of road vehicles are not the same as those used by our Esports works drivers. But the principle of digitally reproducing real conditions is the same. In asphalt motorsport, simulations have become indispensable – especially where testing is limited. In Formula E, for example, our race drivers spend a good three days in the simulator per race, from morning to night,” says Nina Braack, Manager Esports at Porsche Motorsport.

Locked and loaded! Matte Motorsports doesn’t miss!

Many thanks to the team at BMW of Mt. Laurel. We had a great time celebrating the grand opening of their new showroom. Everyone had a blast, competing to set the best lap time in a BMW M2 at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Kudos to Nick A. for taking 1st place in the competition.

And special shoutout to NJ Senator Troy Singleton for being a good sport and taking a lap in the simulator!

Taken one step further - environments like Porsche Studios (and Porsche Experience Centers), where people can INTERACT with brands, will play a key role in establishing the next generation of aspirational brands.

Looks like Porsche plans on maintaining their spot on that list!
