Little known fact about me. I was in 4H for a few years when I was homeschooled. I won first place at the county fair for baking once. My fave part of the fair is the livestock and animals. I’m not new to this I’m true to this.

The best camera is the one you have. The best shots are the ones you take. One day I’ll be in the crew pit or backstage photographing the queen . This has been my goal for a few years and I lost sight for a while. Didn’t build the connects like I needed to, didn’t do the networking I needed to but that just means I have to work harder to be where I need to be. I have to work harder to move from spectator in the stands to working my magic my with my camera in hand. The time will come soon. Until then, I’ll just go harder❤️

The coolest part about my job is that you never know where you’re going to wind up!

So thankful for for bringing me on to this shoot and trusting me with his client! It’s been a dream of mine to capture Kamala Harris for the last few years. My dream became a reality last week during the Forum on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. It was such a super dope event and I had an amazing time!

Happy Monday! Quick Impromptu Shoot for during the White House Forum on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders! She is so amazing and I STAN for her energy and personality. Everyone isn’t easy to work with but she made our quick little stairwell photoshoot so easy and so much fun! We had about 5 minutes during the intermission and made some magic happen❤️❤️

When LNJ DESIGNS x @pootie_ting link up, it’s always great! We worked with Office Depot Workspace Interiors to capture the footage for this case study project for Federation of American Hospitals. Here’s a little funny story about this shoot. Due to a scheduling error on my part, we showed up at 6am two weeks early for this shoot! 😂😂. On the right day of the shoot, it was pouring raining and I got locked inside of my gate at my house. The trinity of videography exposure. 1. Slog2 and making sure #exposure is correct in camera. No peaking highlights. 2. Color correcting and/or Rec709 conversion. 3. Color Grading. Making sure the final product has the look and aesthetic you’re going for. This is a snippet from a quick edit I did last night from an event shoot last Friday. I cook almost everyday but since being cooped up in the house, I wanted to switch from my meal plan and add some excitement to our meals. DAY 5!OF THE VIDEO CHALLENGE: Posting yesterdays video today. I LOVEEE all things citrusy. So I made some lemon bars with a hint of orange to really amp up the citrus. Don’t ask me for a recipe because I kinda did my own thing here. At first, it was supposed to be Keto friendly since it’s made with truvia but the powered sugar killed that. Then it was supposed to be vegan, but the dairy killed that. I guess it’s gluten free tho since the crust is made with almond flour. Might not fit into a category but it taste really good! Part 1: A few months ago, the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA) reached out to me to do photo + video of their team attending the Say Dyslexia Rally and capturing moments from their meetings with key Congressman on The Hill. This event was a little more personal to me since I spent the first half of my life in DC as a public school teacher. I recognize the importance of early intervention for dyslexic students and the need for quality teacher training. At the very end of the day as we were wrapping up, we passed by a sign in front that said “Put the welfare of children over politics and profit”. I quickly grabbed the camera out of the bag to capture this as the closing for this video. When it comes down to education, we should always keep this saying in the forefront of our minds.
