Something that I've been dealing with in myself since turning 30. I feel like i accomplished a fair amount in my 20s but it didnt seem like it really yielded much going into 30. For me, i had to realize that THIS is the time! Everything i did in my 20s was simply laying the track and learning the rules so that now i can really take off.
Dont be discouraged if you are not where you thought you would be in life. Simply understand where you are, identify where you want to be and start marching towards the goals you have set before you. Time to get #BackToBasics!

So this really spoke out to me.... i was walking and saw this tree. It was stretched almost horizontally to break through and get some sunlight. I wondered how could it possibly have enough support to hold such a massive trunk up without snapping under its own weight. That is when i noticed the remains of an old tree nestled underneathe it.
This old tree had long since gone and the only remains were the ragged edged stump. The stump was seemingly holding up the other tree, giving it just enough support to make it to the edge and get the light it needed to survive... i stood there in awe of Gods creation and thought about how this paralleled to my own life. Many fell, lost there lives and may only be remembered by the broken peices that remain but their strength is what holds us up today. We have a chance to see the light because they allowed us to push off their backs and stretch out towards new and brighter path.
I'm really not trying to be deep at all and i apologize for my long windedness to anyone that made it to the end of this but i had to share that moment because it really blessed me. Never forget the sacrifices of those that walked before you because it is on their blood, tears, broken backs and shattered dreams that the promise of our hopes could become a reality.
