There will be over 200 incredible rides, celebrity autograph signings, a pin-up girl contest, and more.

This year at the Shiny Rust Hot Rod Spectacular, the Vehicle City Vixens, Michigan's premier pin-up girl event coordinators, led by two dynamic women, F***y Bruiser and Pink VonSweet, will be hosting the pin-up girl contest on Sunday, Nov. 9th at the Oakland Expo Center in Waterford, MI.

F***y has 13 years of experience in competing, organizing, and emceeing events. She is a published model and has earned nearly 50 titles across seven states. Pink, with years of experience and crowns to her name, is a reliable companion and a creative force to be reckoned with. Together, these two ladies craft events that bring excitement and glamour to car and motorcycle shows, all while empowering women to find their sparkle!

The inaugural Shiny Rust Hot Rod Spectacular is very proud to have this beautiful 1951 Dodge Wayfarer, owned by Scott Ferguson, as our featured showcase car this year

The car is named "REBEL" in honor of Scott's dog who was always in the garage with him, keeping him company since the day he brought it home.

The G Body subframe was already installed from the previous owner, everything else was done by Scott. It has handmade 18 gauge floors, a firewall, inner fender wells, and core support. The side skirts on the rear fenders are handmade as well.

The su***de doors were created by using factory hinges and bear claw latches. Added are power windows and also 'poppers' to open the doors. It has a Monte Carlo rear axle hung from a 4-link and Panhard bar. Suspension is 'air ride' on all 4 corners with twin Viar compressors controlled by Accuair VU4.

The motor is a mild small block Chevy with a mild Clay Smith cam, T5 5-speed transmission. For the rumble, it is supporting the old-school sound of Cherry Bomb glass-packs. Since the car sits flat on the ground, the tailpipes are routed through the bumperettes in the back bumper.

The paint is a mix of pearls and Lil Daddy Roth metal flakes over a silver base, then a black basecoat fogged over the lace in the flames. The body is just PPG 99 black finished off with 3 Gallons of Glasurit clear.
