Women of Ararat is a play written to honor the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide of 1915. A staged reading of the play is coming to the Arsenal Center for the Arts on March 28 and 29 to raise funds for the Women's Support Center in Yerevan, Armenia. Ticket proceeds will support advocacy and services for women in need. The play tells the love story of two young musicians in London in the 1

970's -- Julie and William -- and their relationship with Julie's family, four generations of Armenian women in Watertown, MA. The play explores themes of love, family, memory, pain, and ultimately, hope.
