BHFS is super happy that Bill Kehl will once again emcee Black Hawk Folk Society’s annual day-long music festival this coming Saturday, July 12. Here he is playing an instrument from his amazing collection at last year’s festival! The festival in Mt. Morris Town Park (rain site: Mountain View Community Center) includes an open mic beginning at 10:30, a curated arts and crafts fair, and concessions by the Mt. Morris 4-H Pioneers. Scheduled performers begin at noon with Pat Wiley & Sugar John Wilson, followed by Weary Ramblers at 1:10, Fendrick and Peck at 2:15, Johnsmith at 3:30, with Weary Ramblers closing at 4:45.
