The city of Waxahachie announced this morning that on Friday, June 14, an increased law enforcement presence will be visible at the Waxahachie High School campus, city roadways, and Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Waxahachie.

The City and several community partners, including Waxahachie Independent School District (WISD), would like to inform the public that they will participate in an active shooter exercise. In addition to law enforcement vehicles, community members may see an increased number of other emergency vehicles in the area, such as fire trucks and ambulances, per the media release.

This is so bittersweet. We are officially closing our first storefront and moving around the corner to 106 E Franklin St, 3A, Waxahachie.

📢📣WE WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO COME SEE US! WE WILL BE DOING VENUE TOURS THIS SUNDAY FROM 10:00-4:00. 📣📢

This beautiful stop was our first storefront and home for the past 3 years. It certainly brought us to our next level of service and provided us the opportunity to push our creativity and level of service to what our dreams had always desired. As this chapter and these doors close we are also excited for the next journey.

In October 2024 I took over Management and Operations of 1889 on the Square, a beautiful venue located on the 3rd Floor of the same building as Ellis County Museum, Inc. (1st Floor). As much as this studio set the foundation for our wedding services (coordination, florals, and decor), the venue took everything to the next level. We are able to meet clients in an actual venue with tables and chairs to setup our decor rentals and truly showcase what we can offer and provide as well as offer our services (not required!) for our own beautiful venue that we have absolutely fallen in love with.

Though we do manage and operate 1889, we still provide our same services (Planning and coordination, floral and decor rentals, bartending, dj, hair and makeup team Photo- *family, life, and weddings-,) for the Waxahachie and surrounding areas. We still travel! ❤️

We would love for you to come see us at our new location! We will be doing Venue Tours This Sunday from 10:00am- 4:00pm.
