Just look at these cuties! Megan+Ben took my advice and made their engagement session tell their story. They grew up in Perrysburg and went to school around the corner when they were young, naturally making downtown Perrysburg the perfect spot to capture their love. This day was incredibly cold - I think the coldest of the year so far and they hung in there! ❤️🙌

You guys. Highland cowssss. Absolutely so much fun. The bride was surprised with these little cuties by her mom. The Barn at Honey Blossom Orchard was the perfect backdrop for this very country vibe wedding. Simplicity Sounds kept the dance floor rocking all evening long.

We’re moving into the last week of the contest and I wanted to pop in and thank you for your continued support and ask you to help us finish this off strong.

I’m super honored to have been nominated for Toledo City Paper’s Best of Toledo contest to begin with AND I would be OVER THE MOON 🌕 excited to bring this honor home. I’ve poured everything I have into running my businesses and it is so rewarding to feel SEEN! Everything I do is heart centered and matters. I can’t tell you how many times this season alone, I’ve been asked for photos a little bit early because a loved one wasn’t well or I was called in to help document end of life moments. Not only that, but we get to highlight and celebrate with our clients the best days of their lives. We get to help them portray who they really are at milestones that will matter for years to come. To some, it might just be a photograph, but to others, the memories that they hold will never fade. And that’s why I do this work. ❤️

Sneak Peek time for Rachel+Austin!

Do you schedule family photos at least yearly?

Don’t forget to do this as your children grow and have their own families. It’ll be so nice for them to be able to share with their own children what they were like when they were a child!

I also wanted to talk a little bit about capturing the final moments in some people’s life sometimes. It can be the last major milestone that people are captured on camera with when they get in front of my camera at an event like a wedding or a family session. I’ve recently worked with several clients that have lost loved ones that I captured the last photographs of them. You’ll see you soon when I’m ready to share, that one of my brides has even lost her life since I shot her wedding in August.

So this is just a friendly reminder to always say yes to the photos! Please!

This particular session was an extended family session of a family that is very close to one another and really have learned to lean into one another for support and that is so beautiful.
