Whispers of Halloween
In the cool of the evening, when shadows creep,
The moon casts its glow, as the world falls asleep.
Pumpkins grinning wide with candlelit eyes,
Whispering secrets beneath starry skies.
Ghosts in the corners, with laughter and fright,
Dance through the darkness, a flickering light.
Witches on broomsticks soar high in the air,
Spinning their spells with a flick of their hair.
Children in costumes roam streets full of cheer,
Knocking on doors, bringing laughter and fear.
“Trick or treat!” they call, with bags held up high,
Collecting sweet treasures as they pass by.
The night is alive with the rustle of leaves,
As stories of spirits dance on the breeze.
So gather ’round friends, let the tales be told,
Of magic and mischief, both brave and bold.
For Halloween’s here, with its eerie delight,
A time for enchantment and thrills of the night.
Embrace the wonder, let your spirits take flight,
In the heart of the shadows, find joy in the fright.

Do you like pineapple on pizza?
In memory of Robert P.
Riding the wind, with the sun on his face,
Robert found freedom in every new place.
From the roads of Gulfport to skies so wide,
He carried his heart, with his family by his side.
A year has passed since he rode that final mile,
But his spirit still lingers in each laugh and smile.
The engine hums softly, the breeze whispers his name,
And in the hearts of loved ones, he remains the same.
Mississippi sunsets, golden and bright,
Echo the warmth of his guiding light.
Though the road is now empty, and the journey is long,
Robert rides on, in memory, strong.
Forever missed, but never far,
He’s the roar in the wind, the light of a star.
