I know I haven’t posted in awhile and I honestly should have posted a notice before now, but I have had to take time away due to my back situation. I hope to be back up and running again in a week.

I received a spine injection yesterday to hopefully give me some relief and it can take from a few days to a few weeks to kick in. I just refuse to have surgery right now.

Before I had to take time away I was working on a full sized Dogwood branch (1st time making) and it has taken some time to just create the branch/branches part of it, but it’s coming along. We have a white dogwood in our yard, and I have been following the budding of the leaves and the growth of the petals to grow my creation of this beautiful flower.

Stay tuned for the results!

I wanted a sunflower that looked not really boho but, something that would go with that vibe. Not sure how I feel about it. What do you think?

Trying my hand at a different form of filler flowers. Sorry for the shine but, they are still drying. I’m shooting for something rustic/natural looking-like me,hehehe. I turned 58 yesterday and I feel rustic today…..that could have something to do with me dreading preparing taxes this week. Hope you like…….hope you have a great day!!!!

Who said you have to wait until the Fall to enjoy a Cactus Dahlia?

I created this particular dahlia today, which will become just a tiny part of a large flower arrangement that I recently started working on.

Need a beautiful arrangement for an office, church, home, gift etc., let me know.

Simply email me @ [email protected] with your request.

It’s Christmas in August,,,,,,,my 1st crepe Poinsettia and I’m pretty pleased with the outcome. This one will go to a sweet lady who is battling cancer and will be heading back to Florida for the winter soon. I hope she enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it.

I have another Poinsettia that I made a little different and a couple more items that I made for Christmas decorating as well. I will post those once I’m finished with them.

The final result of the Southern Magnolia that I posted the beginning of weeks ago. It was going to be taller and a coral color but, things came up and I ended up making it for myself. The picture doesn’t do it justice if I do say so myself. Making flowers relaxes me and my mind…….hope you like……

I am trying my hand at Crepe paper flowers right now because, I love the realistic look of flowers made with it, I love the flexibility of it, the shading abilities and the choice of colors. So far, this is one of Lia Griffith’s RIP City Dahlias, which is a WIP. I hope you like it.
