Labor Day is right around the corner! Everyone likes to hang out with friends and eat good food, but not everyone wants the hassle of cooking food for the gathering. Here at JD smokehouse we want to help simplify this problem for people. We will be taking orders for ribs, pork butts (pulled pork), and briskets smoked to perfection as choices of meat. We will also be offering our home made macaroni and cheese to pair with the meats as a side. To help make all of this go as smoothly as possible we would like to have all orders in by august 27th. Please reach out to us with what you are wanting the menu to be and how many people you are needing to feed. We look forward to hearing from everyone and providing food for everyone to enjoy!

Weatherford, peaster, and surrounding area friends and family. Tomorrow is the day. We will be providing food for the Summer Lovin Strongman Competition here in peaster! Come on out and support these awesome athletes doing what they love and grab some BBQ while you are at it! The event is open to the public to come watch and enjoy as well as enjoy the food.

Fun times and BBQ are pretty much synonymous! Here are some pics from the fun we had this last weekend at CrossFit DubFord. We wanted to take a second to thank everyone who supported us and were kind enough to donate! It was more than we could have hoped for! We’re excited to see what’s next in store for JD Smokehouse!

This weekend the JD smokehouse team will be splitting up to divide and conquer 2 events. Dustin will be representing us at the barnyard cook off competition right here in our hometown of Weatherford. And Justin will be headed to Kaufman, tx to cater an event for Kaufman First Church as a community outreach for the town of Kaufmans first responders. We are excited to be apart of both events. If you are near or around Weatherford this Saturday head out to heritage park in Weatherford and give Dustin all the support as he represents us in this competition!

Hey guys!
Due to some unfortunate events, we are unable to provide the menu that we originally planned. Our smoker was loaded down and ready to provide y’all with the highest quality food that we possibly could, but as we went to check on the meat, the smoker erupted into flames. We were not able to salvage the meat in time. We gave our word that we would be there, and could not in good conscience not show up. We’ve dug deep and will continue to work through the night to provide the best alternatives that we can. We will be able to bring the small amounts of brisket and pulled pork that were on a separate smoker. Other than that, the menu will consist of:
Meats- “fall off the bone” ribs and smoked chicken quarters.
Our
Sides- smoked baked potato, choice from assortment of chips, and our special recipe of beans.

Our hope is that we can still show up, regardless of the unfortunate obstacle, and provide an enjoyable experience. In light of the situation and the changes that had to be made, tips are absolutely welcome but the food will be at no charge to the public.

We will be at CrossFit DubFord this coming saturday! We will have brisket, pulled pork, and chicken quarters. Or we can wrap it all up in loaded baked potato. The event is open to the public and we would love to see everyone come by and support the athletes competing and check out all of the vendors. Come see us and grab some true texas BBQ. There will be sandwich meals with your choice of brisket or pulled pork. Or you can make it a platter with our beans and cole slaw. We look forward to seeing everyone out there!
