2nd Saturdays in the Park returns next Saturday, May 11th to Central Park in Downtown Weldon. Join us for live music from Tanglewood, the Duo, and Art in Central Park.
ATTENTION VENDORS - We are still accepting vendors of Arts, crafts, and handmade products.
-original artwork; painters, printmakers, photographers, jewelers, etc.
-handmade candles and soaps, pots and clay work, woven crafts, wood crafts, original knitted items, original sewn items, etc.
-designers and graphic artists with original artwork, t-shirts, bags, cards

Thank You to all who participated in Saturdays in the Park and the Red Wagon Parade on April 20th. All of the volunteers, vendors, parade participants, the band Sons of Earl, and all who came and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon in Downtown Weldon.

There will be a BIG Red Wagon in the Red Wagon Parade on Saturday, April 20th at 12 noon. Come to Downtown Weldon and enjoy the festivities of Live Music from the Sons of Earl a Vendor Market and the Parade.

And for clarity, this event is in Downtown Weldon, on Washington Ave (our main street) in the 200 block (the block between the one way streets) and beside Sunshine Grill.

The true focus of the Red Wagon Parade will be like a Children's Parade with Families and groups walking the parade route and having fun with wagons, bicycles, tricycles, strollers, and such. We invite families, Cheerleaders, Dance and Cheer groups to join us in the parade.

Decorate your wagons, bikes, trikes, strollers, float, truck, or classic car in Red, White, and Blue, be creative with your design. There will be prizes for the best decorated red wagons in the parade.

Join Us for Saturdays in the Park in Downtown Weldon this Spring and Fall with Live Music and a Pop-Up Market with a focus on building community through the gathering of neighbors and friends and supporting the Downtown Business District. Visit www.WeldonNCevents.com for more information.

The first event will be on April 20th, thereafter the events will be on the 2nd Saturdays in May, June, September, October, and November. All of the events will be between 11 am and 2 pm at Central Park, 208 Washington Avenue, Downtown Weldon. (beside Sunshine Grill).

October 12th we plan to host a mini Bluegrass Festival
November 9th, Downtown Businesses will have their Christmas Open House events.
