Just wanted to take a moment to share this beautiful arrangement that I created for a collaboration and give you all an update.

Today is my last day at the shop, and I wanted to take a moment to share my reflections on this journey. When I signed the one-year lease, I intended to stay for just that—one year. Although I was given the chance to continue and expand my floral shop, I chose not to, due to the significant responsibilities that come with growth. I’m proud to say that I’ve accomplished everything I set out to do. My only regret is not embracing more walk-in traffic, like a traditional floral shop would. However, the experience I’ve gained as a one-woman operation (with occasional help from my family) has been incredibly rewarding. I wouldn’t change a thing.
I’m currently working on rebranding my business and concentrating on enhancing the quality of my work at an affordable price. I can't wait to share what’s next for Ma Rie Flower Shop with you all. Thanks so much for your ongoing support—it means a lot to me!

Hope everyone had a happy Fourth of July! Please be patient with me as I reply back to everyone.

For clarification, I am still taking normal orders (flower bouquets, weddings, and funerals) until the middle of August.

At the end of August, I will be closing my storefront. I am still debating whether or not I will continue my floral business. My two helpers will be in college, and I do not want to expand my business and hire new employees.

As always, I'll make sure to update everyone on my final decision!

Hello everyone! I hope this message finds you well.

I have decided to take some time off from my business. I know I have said this before, but this time I am serious. 🤣 I have been getting a lot of orders, and I appreciate your trust in me for your special events. However, I need to take some time for myself and my family.

First, I want to apologize for any lack of communication or poor customer service that you may have experienced. Recently, my mother was hospitalized, and as the eldest child, I had to take on a lot of responsibility for her care.

In addition, I have taken on a part-time job to help support myself as I return to school in the fall to pursue my bachelor's and master's degrees.

With all of these commitments, I have decided to dissolve my business and close my storefront in August.

There is no specific reason for this decision other than my desire to move on to new opportunities. I feel that I have accomplished what I set out to do with my business, and with my helpers going to college, I will not have the support I need to continue operating at the level I would like. I do not want to expand my business and hire more workers.

I may continue to take limited orders for hand-tied bouquets, but I will no longer be able to service events such as weddings or funerals.

I want to express my deepest gratitude for all the love and support you have shown me.
