t Ri Ra Irish Pub & Restaurant for 3 years and spent one summer as the Catering Manager out on Great Diamond Island. This is where I gained my experience and expertise in event planning and ex*****on. In efforts to free up my weekends a bit (since I only see my fiancé on the weekends and would eventually like to start a family someday), I decided to pursue a more M-F 9-5 career and am now the Director of Sales for the Hampton by Hilton in Lewiston-Auburn. This allowed me to free up the weekends to not only spend time with the love of my life and our families, but also to still do what I love- coordinating weddings! It all started with friends asking me to do their weddings, then engaged attendees at those weddings seeing how I work and asking me to do theirs, and has grown from there. One day out of the "blue" the name "Something Blue" came to me and I just knew I had to do something with it! So, I decided to create my own brand and start working with couples that I don't already know but will soon become very close with as we work through the details for their special days! Because I want to be sure to have a balance between my weekends with my fiancé and my love for helping couples celebrate their big day, I do have to be very selective with the weddings and dates I choose to work and have decided on a maximum of 6 weddings a year. I would love for YOUR wedding to be one of my 6! We will work together throughout the planning process to ensure that ALL details are covered and I will make sure that everything goes as perfectly as possible the day of, taking that stress right off your shoulders so you can sit back, clear your mind, and just enjoy your special day with the ones you love most!
