Hey all!
It’s been a while, but lately I’ve been thinking about my mission as a DJ and why I love doing what I do, and that being said…
Why should you book DJ Hamilton for your event?
Well, for context, I started off DJing as part of a very well known entertainment company, met lots of new friends, gained a ton of experience DJing karaoke, trivia, music bingo, weddings, and all sorts of private events. However, what I noticed is that they charged astronomical amounts for weddings and private events, and honestly I thought to myself, “why would anyone pay that much?” I understand that it’s a special event or your special day, but there’s no need to charge an arm and a leg for quality DJ service.
Look back 2, 3 years ago, and I get let go from this company, and told the classic “the grass isn’t always greener on the other side” by the owner of said company, so I decided, with some help, to spread my wings, so to speak, and get my own equipment so that I can still continue doing what I love. And that’s just it. I love music and I love DJing. And I don’t need to charge ridiculous amounts to provide a service that to me, doesn’t feel like a service. I’m just playing music and having fun alongside everyone else.
