Our Story
ZaZa Design was started in the summer months of 2012 after owner Zarah McGarvey realized she simply could go no longer without taking the camera everywhere she went. Art had always been a huge part of Zarah's life, and photography was no different. When she was a little girl, she would run and hide with her mother's disposable cameras a take pictures of her dogs, birds, the flowers outside and her dad… while he was sleeping! It was when she was 14 that she received her first camera for Christmas that she realized just how much she loved taking pictures. From that year, all the way to her graduation in 2012, Zarah's passion for photography only grew more as she learned the art of touching up photographs in numerous editing programs such as the Adobe Creative Suite's Photoshop, and another version for PC called GIMP. Now, two years later, business is buzzing! Working with a bakery to market their work, taking pictures of friends who are having little ones, and also marketing herself along the way, Zarah is keeping busy and never stops pushing forward. This is a testament to her work as well.
