The job: We offer extremely competitive rates and benefits for ambitious candidates. This is an ideal general labor position for college students who are entering summer break or individuals who are seeking a long-term opportunity in developing a career in the tent & event industry.
Responsibilities will include: driving company vehicles; loading equipment between warehouse, trucks, and job-sites; installations of large tents, tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, and more; communicating clearly with customers and team members; and providing exceptional customer service to our loyal customers.
Classification: Hourly, Seasonal and Full Time options.

Reports to: Production Manager
Our Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to pass a background check, DOT pre-employment physical and a pre-employment drug test.
• GPS proficiency with a general knowledge of the Des Moines area.
• Must be able to provide, understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral or scheduled form.
• Intermediate understanding of installation processes and requirements.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately.
Your work schedule: An open availability is essential to the overall operations of the company.
There is Travel: Mostly the individual will be working offsite.
Our Workplace: What is described here are requirements that we desire a delivery driver to meet in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
• Temperature/Climate: The delivery driver will work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
• Safety Considerations: The delivery driver will regularly use hand tools, motor-powered tools/equipment, cleaning equipment, and will operate a company vehicle. The work will be in a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working in high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
• Physical/Mental/Organizational Capabilities: The individual is encouraged to have the ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, balance, climb stairs and lift, carry, push/pull a minimum of 70 pounds, and up to 100 pounds at times. The delivery driver is generally desired to reach with hands and arms; stand; walk; squat; and use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects or controls. Repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. In all cases where lifting is desired assistance should be requested and proper lifting equipment should be worn/used. The ability to pay attention to detail, problem solve, troubleshoot, and make decisions is desired.
• Visual/Hearing Capabilities: The visual ability necessary to read and interpret instructions on paper is desired. The delivery driver is desired to have visual acuity to include color, depth perception, and field vision. The hearing ability necessary to communicate with others is desired. The individual must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with employees and customers on all levels of the organization.
