Conboy Westchester Funeral Home, a family owned funeral home, founded in 1885, has proudly served the Chicagoland area for four generations. We offer affordable funeral services, including traditional funerals, cremations, memorial services, burials and gatherings. Conboy Funeral Homes was originally established in Chicago at Madison & Cicero, moved to the Galewood/Oak Park area in 1968 and in 1974 expanded our facilities to the Westchester location to meet the demand of families who were moving from Chicago to the Western Suburbs. In the ever growing and changing industry of funeral service, we take pride in knowing that our family has continued to operate this business without deviating from our original mission. As we approach our 130th year of operation, both the third and fourth generation of Conboys are actively running and directing the funeral home. Jean Conboy Hanson and Matthew P. Conboy joined their father, Peter R. Conboy in 1998 as managing partners and funeral directors in an effort to continue to provide the community with the same level of family operated service that was established back in 1885. As we look to the future, we, the Conboy family and our dedicated staff, look forward to continuing to provide you with the high level of personalized service that you have become accustomed to. Whether it be a traditional funeral, a memorial service, a simple cremation or a direct burial, we take seriously the needs and wishes of each and every one of the families who chooses to entrust the care of their loved one to Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home and its staff. While we are located in Westchester, we have proudly served the following towns over the past 130 years: Chicago, Westchester, Berkeley, Hillside, La Grange, La Grange Park, North Riverside, Riverside, Berwyn, Elmhurst, Melrose Park, Lyons, Cicero, Oak Park, River Forest, Forest Park, Broadview, Brookfield, Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Westmont, Villa Park, Lombard, Downers Grove, Willowbrook and Western Springs among others. We have established relationships with all of the churches within these areas, including the Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Serbian Orthodox, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Protestant and Christian. We are a non-denominational funeral home and offer services to all faiths. Balodimas, Michael J. Bruno, Riverside Funeral Directors - The Original Kuratko Family Directors - Kenneth D.
