Today we had a request for an “Elsa Mermaid” character and since we had a real mermaid costume and an Elsa wig we happily obliged by putting the two together! Melody is a cystic fibrosis warrior and she was our very first ever ”Win a Free Princess Visit” recipient 7 years ago when she we just 2 years old. Her mom recently contacted us to see if we could get her favorite character Stitch to come and hold up a sign to surprise Melody when she got off the bus from school to let her know that her “Make a Wish” dream to go to Hawaii had been granted! This video and her joy absolutely melted my heart! I am SO happy for this amazing family! Princess Melody deserves the world and I’m so glad she will have this special opportunity!💙

This past weekend our beautiful Mary Kate Gebhart volunteered her time to play Belle for the “Butterfly Ball” put on by the Butterfly Guild to raise money for Children’s Hospital. I have said this before but my employees truly have the biggest hearts and their dedication to community service and bettering the world around them never ceases to amaze me! I’m proud to have such wonderful people on my team.💛

“Night to Shine” at One Church was out of this world this year!! Such an amazing surprise to have the one and only Tim Tebow and his wife fly in to be there! The people with special needs who attended and the immense amount of LOVE they showed our characters touched our hearts to the core! Of all the events that we volunteer for throughout the year this one is always my favorite! What an amazing experience!😍💙

9 years ago today was the most magical night of my entire life! Dreams really do come true!💙

"I’M ENGAGED!!!!!! The most magical moment of my entire life happened last night!! 31 beautiful years have led up to this fairy tale experience…. :)

I have a side “Princess Party” business (Amy's Princess Parties) and 2 months ago a mom called me and booked me as Cinderella for her daughters 6th birthday party. She said she was the owner of a little restaurant called La Chatelaine (which was where Nick and I had our first date) and that she was going to throw a big party there for her little girl.

Last night I showed up to the restaurant decked out in my Princess attire and the owners little girl greeted me at the door in her Cinderella dress. She told me her birthday party was in the other room and escorted me to a side room….I pushed back the streamers and stepped into a room decked out in white Christmas lights…Beautiful music was playing and the floor had a red carpet lined with white rose petals and hundreds of little tea lights in the shape of a heart…At the end of the carpet was my boyfriend Nick dressed up as Prince Charming with a glass slipper in his hands…
I was shocked to see him, but then he started explaining to me that one year ago on Dec. 18th was the first day that he ever knew that I existed. It was on that day that we had our first interaction with one another. He then expressed to me his undying love and told me he wanted to make every one of my wildest wishes come true to give me the fairy tale I deserved…He then got down on one knee and presented me with my dream ring which he had set in a little cushion in the engraved glass slipper. I was shocked and in tears…

Afterwards he showed me that he had set up a timeline of the past year of our relationship through framed pictures in chronological order from our first date all the way to an empty frame at the end…He explained that the last empty frame (which was engraved with Nick and Amy and the date) was to fill in with a picture of our special engagement moment. He told me my parents had been in the room earlier that night to pray over him and the exact place that we were going to get engaged at, which also brought me to tears. I was sp*echless the whole time and bawling. I’m so thankful that I waited for God’s very best for my life….He has blessed me beyond imagine!!!!! Rom. 8:25"

Had the most amazing time at Story Time at the Licking County Library today! The sweetest little Elsa lover came to tell me goodbye and her mom said, “Elsa is there anything you can say to my daughter to encourage her to sing for others? She is shy but has a beautiful voice!” I looked at the little girl and said, “Oh yes! I remember being afraid to sing in front of people when I was little too! But did you know that your voice is a gift? Do you like getting gifts for Christmas?” She got excited and said “Yes! I do!” So then I told her “When God gives you a gift He doesn’t want you to keep it for yourself, He wants you to give it away to bless others with it! So, don’t be afraid to sing for others because that special gift is not meant to be kept inside.” Her eyes lit up and she nodded and said “You’re right Elsa, I want to give my gift away like you do!” There’s nothing like being able to encourage a child to see their God given potential putting on these costumes gives me a special platform to be able to do it and I will never take that for granted.💙❄️

Congrats to all the people who ran in The Columbus Marathon this morning! Our characters had a blast partnering with Nationwide Children's Hospital again this year to bring love and hugs to the amazing “Patient Champions” and runners at the Encore Mile!🥰

Ran into my dear friend Trevor at the park today! Even in plain clothes he recognized me as Elsa and got to meet my little girl. It’s been a true joy to work with children over the years but nothing has touched my heart more than the work we have done with adults with special needs. The love I have received and the friendships I have formed have forever changed my life for the better!💙
